In prison they let you have a pretty reasonable amount of phone calls so I don't see why in league you can't even tell someone you're in LeaverBuster. At least change it from "In Queue" to "In LeaverBuster"
It's annoying when you're in a group and have the time penalty thing making it where you can't interact with anything in the game, including just chatting with your group.
Even when it's not your penalty.
I don't think so. I think leaverbuster punishments should be such an annoying experience that having to deal with dissuades people from AFKing, and being unable to do anything during a 20 minute queue is pretty annoying.
I will say, however, that I think that this should not extend to people who are in queue with somebody in their party who has leaverbuster (which it does currently)

LeaverBuster is essentially a time-out. It is meant to keep you from interacting with the client.
Or at least not lock out everyone else in queue with you?
The easiest way to get around this is to not get leaverbuster penalties in the first place

yeah, i have a friend who always gets leavebuster and i'm tired of not being able to edit my masteries and item sets while we have to wait... this is bs, riot fix this.

New client does this I'm pretty sure. Though I haven't been leaverbustered in the new client before.
I actually agree that this lockout is dumb for everyone. It should at least allow you to navigate the client, because even from a business standpoint it's better to have your patrons browsing your shop and potentially making purchases rather than waiting and/or tabbing out into another program. This is like a concert selling beer but no food - it's counter intuitive to drive people out of your place of business.
