Weis & Cyn, The Banished Twins

Twins once banished to the Shadow Isles. Nature/Dark theme. Weis is focused on nature and Cyn focuses on the dark.

Basic Lore: Weis and Cyn were both Ionian wood weavers. Weis became exceptional in his studies, while Cyn preferred to ignore them and seek out darker magic. Cyn was banished for practicing dark magic, Weis caring for his brother went with him in his banishment. Banished to the Shadow Isles at the time of their ruination, surviving was difficult. They found holy water as the corruption was still taking effect, but the cursed creatures around them were an immediate threat. Weis ended up dying trying to protect Cyn, and Cyn repaying his debt to his brother brought him back the only way he knew. As Weis' soul was blocked passage to the other side, Cyn enacted a spell which caused soul possession, however since Cyn's soul was still in his body at the time all it did was trade their soul's places and bind them to the same body. They came to an agreement that they would divide time evenly between each other. Basically something like that, just to get the idea.


Abilities


Passive: Troubled Spirits Weis and Cyn get different passives depending on which one is in spirit form.

Cyn Spirit: When brought below 30% life Weis gains 70% total CDR(breaking the limit) for 5 seconds, and R gets put on a 30 second cooldown. 90s cooldown. Weis spirit: When brought below 30% life Cyn becomes untargetable for 2 seconds, and R gets put on a 30 second cooldown. 90s cooldown.


R: Soul Transfer | CD 14/11/8/5 | Cost 50/45/40/35 Shift control between Weis and Cyn.

Passive: When Weis is in control gain +5/10/15/20% movement speed, and 10/15/20/25% tenacity. When Cyn is in control gain +5/10/15/20% increased damage.


Weis Abilities


Q: Branches | CD 8/7.75/7.5/7.25/7 | Cost 40 | Range 500 | Radius 200 Shoots out a branch from a targeted wall after 0.5s delay in a targeted direction, which acts like a wall itself. Acts like Viktor E with choosing direction. Branches break after 10/11/12/13/14 seconds or if the wall they're connected to breaks.

Dark Portal: Branches can be cast on Dark Portal, doing so makes the branch shoot out and pierce enemies, retreating back to the portal instantly. Deals 70/110/150/190/230+(50% Ability Power) Magic damage and pulls enemies back 150 units.


W: Bush Rush | CD 14/13/12/11/10 | Cost 30/40/50/60/70 | Range 400 Consume a bush. Recast within 5 seconds to shoot out grass blades which grant 20/25/30/35/40% attack and movement speed to all allies affected. Consumed bushes are cut down to low levels, making them inactive, but grow back in 8 seconds.

Dark Portal: If the leaves pass through Dark Portal then they turn into dark leaves and shoot 350 units in a 90 degree fan, damaging enemies hit for 60/90/120/150/180+(40% Ability Power) Magic damage.


E: Pure Waterway | CD 30/28/26/24/22 | Range 400 | Radius 100 Throws water on ground which springs up like a waterfall/fountain. Grants + 2/4/6/8/10+(5% Ability Power) health and half as much mana each second for allies inside. Lasts until recast.

Cyn's spells change when cast through this, turning into a purified version.


Cyn Abilities


Q: Orb of Ruination | CD 16/15/14/13/12 | Cost 60/65/70/75/80 | Range 600 | Radius 300 Dark orb that goes a set distance and then explodes after 2 seconds for 50/80/110/140/170+(35% Ability Power) Magic damage, leaving behind Cursed Ground for 4 seconds.

Pure Waterway: If the orb passes through Pure Waterway then it turns into a light orb that explodes after 2 seconds shielding allies for 30/45/60/75/90+(25% Ability Power) and leaves Hallowed Ground for 4 seconds.

Cursed Ground: lowers enemies MR and AR by 20%, applies grievous wounds. Hallowed Ground: Increases allies MR and AR by 20%, increases shields and heals by 30%.


W: Black Mist | CD 14/13/12/11/10 | Cost 30/40/50/60/70 | Range 700 Dark cloud that moves and blinds the vision of enemies passed and slows by 30/35/40/45/50% for 2 seconds.

Pure Waterway: If the cloud passes through Pure Waterway then it changes into a glowing white cloud that cleanses allies passed and gives them stealth for 0.6/0.8/1/1.2/1.4 seconds.


E: Dark Portal | CD 30/28/26/24/22 | Range 400 | Radius 100 Cyn opens up a malformed black portal from above, pouring down dark essence. Silences enemies inside and drains their life for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5% max life as true damage every 0.5 seconds. Lasts until recast.

Weis' spells change when cast through this, turning into a corrupted version.


Weiss W is recast with a Bard Q width. 5s CDR passive makes you have 70% CDR regardless, no higher or lower, even with runes. URF is an exception though. Weiss Q can be cast on Dark Portal as if it were a wall.

Very mechanically complex, but not in a way that's impossible to understand. Good concept.

Noooo the twins thing was my idea sigh well looks like am gonna have to post them now sigh My concept is similarly different so its all good .

Umm OK so their spirits interact with the other but you need to be more clear on how exactly that works. Am guessing rapid switching, sigh (another similarly, great minds think alike i guess). But I haven't really understood their rotations I'll go over it a bit, run some scenarios and post a second comment.

Yea so Its still kinda hard to understand, the dark portal is there a specific reason its under all of Weiss's moves Cuz if your time idea is that its part of the passive and that its summoned after he uses certain abilities that is something you have to state and make clear, i like the abilities but some of the interactions are not justified. Example q let's say it summons a portal that way the branch comes through, it does its damage then what? You never mentioned how long the portal would stay open bur there's a second branch coming that you never explained how or why. Now i know those might be small details but there important when it comes to explaining your champion and how they are used. Also cursed ground has no origin, you explained hollowed ground but left out cursed, am guessing its an effect after one of the orbs explode but if its a light orb and a dark orb i suggest you place hollow on the light orb and curse on the other.

This is slot to type out from my phone but if you need some help am always happy to help I've even made entire champions of ppl from just their idea of how they wanted 1 ability to work.
