Passive: Sand Drifter Ability Power grants 1 Base Movement Speed per 5 points of Ability Power.
Covil can cast all of his abilities while moving.
Q: Sand Shard | CD 7/6.5/6/5.5/5 | Cost 60/65/70/75/80 | Range 700 Covil shoots out a shard comprised of sand stopping at the first enemy hit and dealing 80/130/180/230/280+(80% Ability Power) magic damage and inflicting nearsighted for 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3 seconds.
Killing a unit refunds 75% of the mana cost and 50% of the cooldown.
W: Sands of Time | CD 15/14/13/12/11(1 Recast) | Cost 40/45/50/55/60 | Range 900 Covil creates a 200 radius swirling pillar of sand that slows all projectiles inside by 75% and damages units inside for 25/40/55/70/85+(25% Ability Power) magic damage each second for 4 seconds. Holds 2 charges. Recasting on the same pillar increases the radius to 300, refreshes its duration, and increases the damage dealt by 100%. Recasting at a different location will cause all projectiles that enter a pillar to teleport and exit from the closest other pillar and have their range refreshed, projectiles can only travel this way once.
E: Scorching Wind | CD 18/16.5/15/13.5/12 | Cost 75 | Range 100% total movement speed | Width 200 Covil rushes forward as a burning hot cloud of sand passing through units and dealing 60/90/120/150/180+(20% Ability Power) magic damage to all units hit, slowing them by 20% and grounding them for 2 seconds. Covil is untargetable during this 0.5 second dash. If Covil dashes into Sands of Time with 2 pillars active then he will teleport to the other pillar and continue forward.
R: Sand Storm | CD 140/110/80 | Cost 125/150/175 | Radius 550 Covil amasses a huge sand storm for 5 seconds. Covil surrounds himself with his sandstorm and gains +30/40/50% movement speed. Deals 25/50/75+(17.5% Ability Power) magic damage every 0.5 seconds.
Passive: Invasive Sand Whenever an enemy takes damage by Covil's abilities they get tiny pieces of sand lodged inside them stacking up to 5 times. Covil can basic attack the enemies to expend all stacks and deal 5/10/15+(3/4/5% Ability Power) bonus true damage per stack.
Covil is a high mobility AP mage with no tank or sustain qualities and no hard crowd control. His role is more of an AP assassin, similar to a Zed playstyle using your W like he uses his shadows. Fight against champions like Yasuo with ease, as your W is not a projectile and your Q when paired up with W can wrap around his windwall, your E can be a good escape or engage to stop his dashes with the grounding.
To confuse enemies you can even place a W behind and in front of you, dash to the front one and then appear behind where you started. Or activate R and and throw down some W's to dash over the wall and gank like a knock-off Fiddle but less scary since you already used W+E+R to make this happen you weirdo.
The range refresh basically works like a recast of the projectile that teleported, but keeps amped up damage from things like Nidalee Q and Zoe Q. Careful, this also applies to enemy projectiles! So teleporting that enemy Nid Q might 1-shot your unsuspecting jungler. Had to state that projectiles can't infinite loop between W's. Otherwise that'd be a problem.
