Honestly I was kinda surprised with all the Shurima skins recently, but then I saw that Ekko was ALSO getting a Sand skin as his first skin and lost my shit. Its really not a compelling skin line for myself and a lot of other people and would like to see something more creative with new champs at first. It just feels like you guys are going ham on the Shurima skins lately and it would be nice to see some other stuff.

On the other hand, there was VERY heavy focus on the dagger throughout the movie, until he stabbed the hourglass with it during the aforementioned ten minutes (which happened to be heavily concentrated at the end, when he was stabbing it)

A lot of important plot points only show up once or twice in many movies, however that doesn't make them any less important.

Poptart Evelynn12 votesYou also have to remember all of these skins were all thought about at the same time. The sand skin fits perfectly with the character but it's not a guardians of the sand skin line. It's in the same lines of Kat's Sandstorm skin.

Leetri1 votesIt's a Prince of Persia skin, which is more relevant than Bill and Ted since the time-rewinding devices and overall mechanics are very similar. Also, I don't see what they could do with it other than make him look like Keanu Reeves.
Rubber Jesus3 votesHe could have a telephone booth follow him and rewind back to jump out of it. Or a Delorean. You gotta use your imagination. That's what they're asking of the skin team. Who wants the obvious, when you can get creative and have the awesome?
Edit: Or have Ekko be Bill or Ted and the other follow him as the clone, and when he rewinds a telephone booth pops up and he bursts forth, exclaiming triumphantly, "Excellent," or "Bogus." Or have the Professor follow Marty around and the Delorean pops when uses rewind. I would totally buy either of those skins. Not gonna buy the Prince of Persia sand reference though. It is simply not as awesome, nor creative, as those ideas I mentioned.
Leetri1 votesThat's still only his past self tackled. Ekko needs to be changed too. He'd be pretty plain looking, just a black vest, large, black hair and a confused expression. I like Bill and Ted, but it wouldn't be a interesting looking skin. I'm also pretty sure they're going to go with a Dr Who skin before Bill and Ted. More interesting design (he could wield a sonic screwdriver) and it's more popular and a more recent reference. How many kids nowadays even know what Bill and Ted is?
Rubber Jesus1 votesDoesn't matter how many. Point is there are way more interesting ideas than the common 'fits the image because they are so similar.' Taking two dissimilar entities, sharing a common trait, and combining them to make it work as a skin in creative and inventive ways is far more appealing.
Bill and Ted are amazing BTW. I would argue as many people know of them as the Prince of Persia reference (I don't play PoP games, so I completely missed that reference). You argue nothing could be done besides a Keanu Reeves; I offered a creative idea with a lot substance to give it more pizazz. You can take ideas that may look bland, and with some creativity, make them a lot more awesome than what they appear to be at first. It's more than just putting on different clothes.

I know this is true but I think that it should've taken the place of forsaken Jayce because i could see ekko with a sith lord skin. Plus it would've been red which would look good on him. I also have always liked the Prince of Persia (2008) game version better :3.
