Honestly I was kinda surprised with all the Shurima skins recently, but then I saw that Ekko was ALSO getting a Sand skin as his first skin and lost my shit. Its really not a compelling skin line for myself and a lot of other people and would like to see something more creative with new champs at first. It just feels like you guys are going ham on the Shurima skins lately and it would be nice to see some other stuff.
I would like to point out that Ekko's Shurima based release skin is based off of Prince of Persia, where in one of the games "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" The main character obtains a golden hourglass that allows him to rewind time.
You also have to remember all of these skins were all thought about at the same time. The sand skin fits perfectly with the character but it's not a guardians of the sand skin line. It's in the same lines of Kat's Sandstorm skin.
No more sand No more blood moon at least for a little while please

I'm tired of all the sand skins too. I guess I can accept it for Ekko due to the Prince of Persia reference, but PLEASE no more.

Something I find funny about those skins is that to be honest, the sand particles look really weaksauce and Riot keeps making them.
All I can say is if you don't like it, don't buy it.

Young man, who wields a sword, lives in a desert land, and has dominion over TIME. Having a time swordsman means a sand themed skin is a NO-BRAINER! Think about it people!

Clearly, I was pretty dissapointed to see another Shurima skin too.
Depending on the particles I'm looking forward to it. But I'm kind of a sucker for sand themed stuff, I liked Gaara when he was a bad guy.
But yeah if they do any after this we should probably send someone to make sure Azir didn't take Riot over in the name of SHURIMA!
I agree with everyone else. The idea is cool but we don't need 15 skins that are based on deserts. Make something that is unique. You guys are good at that.

Agreed -- come up with some fun and original skins again. Hell, your own community has given you enough good ideas for years. These Sand / Blood Moon themed skins are just feeling lazy at this point.

I know this is true but I think that it should've taken the place of forsaken Jayce because i could see ekko with a sith lord skin. Plus it would've been red which would look good on him. I also have always liked the Prince of Persia (2008) game version better :3.
