Chroma Packs Should Cost IP

I am all for chroma packs as a concept. I find it appealing that you can change the basic color scheme for some of your favorite characters. I also want to state that I do love the quality of skins that Riot has released lately, and I think they are generally fair with their pricing. That being said, I do not believe that chroma packs should have to be purchased with RP. Chroma Packs are a nice idea, but honestly how hard is it to make one? An undergraduate computer science major could create a chroma pack for nothing. Custom skins exist everywhere for League of Legends. Something like a simple recolor of a champion should not be worth RP. I understand that Riot wants to keep things consistent, seeing as all other artistic content is on sale for RP they want this to be on sale for RP too. But selling something this simple for RP, I just don't find it fair. It seems like an attempt on Riot's part to make money. This argument is furthered by the fact that you cannot even buy singular chromas for a champion. They force you to buy 3 of them for a "bundle deal." Many people would be happy with just one color. Instead, it seems like Riot is forcing people to purchase more than they want to so that they are just making more for each purchase, yet they make it seem like a small enough amount that it is worth the money. If Riot cares as deeply for the community as they claim, Chroma Packs would be for Influence Points. You could even make it worth a significant amount of influence points, for example make them worth 4800. This would be especially helpful for those veteran players you have that are sitting on hundreds of thousands of IP with nothing to spend it on. I understand if you work hard for a skin, you guys should make profit on it, and you really make some great skins.

But chroma packs are just RECOLORS. Its not hard for you to do with many of the champions that are currently out there. You're not even changing particle effects, just the color of their suits. Just make them for IP. Its not worth the RP. But hey, I could be wrong!

Yeah I reckon that chroma packs instead of being like 520 Rp should be about 3150 ip [slayer-jinx-wink]

1500ip per chroma 500rp per bundle regardless of the amount they decided to make over the course of their 3-4 minute session of "find all and replace" color changing.

cosmetics for cash is an amazing system.. but don't update your mcdonald's with super awesome interior but raise pricing of the food to pay for it.. you know? dumb business and you show how little you think of your cattle.
