MetalDeathBug : He was wanting riot and the player community to do their part to save the environment. (in short words) riot to release skins to remind people to protect the environment.

My skin ideas for the cause i suggested on that thread:

**Global warming Zac (Top) **- where while he is walking he is solid ice white in color, but as battle starts to heat up he begins to melt and turn a darker blue color like water.

Sludge covered Nami (support) - remind people to stop polluting oceans, covered in oil

Toxic waste Varus (adc) - remind people that toxic waste should be disposed of properly, green glowing radioactive wast oozing from his skin. glowing green eyes

Smog coated Anivia (mid) - cleaner air is better, white bird with half her feather covered with black dust.

Tree hugger Xin Zhao (jungle) - His spear would be a picket sign that reads saves the trees. white t-shirt with a picture of maokai on it, orange shorts and blue flip flops. and his hair be pulled back dreads or wearing a knitted cap/beanie.

If you have any ideas please feel free to share or just get this discussion to the top of the list.

Riot could release these as a bundle allowing the $ cost of the RP use to buy them to go to charity. Then for a Summoner who bought them would get a specialized summoner icon and a free mystery gift as a thank you from riot.

Please community help promote this! It's five new skins for a great cause!

This sounds like something the Sierra Club or Greenpeace would want.

Political motives aside, I don't think that these ideas really suit the champions you put them for. Some of them seem simply cartoonish and ridiculous, especially that Xin Zhao skin. If some of these get made, most people will probably just laugh at them instead of buy one. On another note, a better skin suggestion for Zac that's both reasonable and won't look strange would be more of a Toxic Sludge Zac.

Eh.... For riot to release these skins there would be polical issues and sutff, id advise them to not go there.

yeah ok, but how would the politics be affected by skins in a video game. propaganda yes but propaganda is everywhere. just don't see the point you guys are trying to make.

Okay yes, but i was trying to make a point. when it comes to video games politics fades away. like other issues like Religion. Also it's not like Riot is out there twisting people's arms to buy the skin. So what if riot did pick a side. do you think oil companies or factories around the world care what video companies do no they have their own business and agendas to worry about. Honestly do any of you care about politics? the shit is always rigged anyway. One vote doesn't make a difference companies and backseat puppet groups are the ones that control politics. The people are just told that we are control. Also if Riot is a company what's to stop them from 'signing their business' to oil companies, factories, or any other big business to gain a little profit. hell does it really matter what video game players and fans do or like as long as the status qua stays the same. Jesus you all act like riot is running senate, or to be president.... THEY ARE A VIDEO GAME COMPANY. Video game companies are only one of very few outlets for public opinion and free speech. if it's about politics as well wouldn't liberals be mad and come after riot for the violence of the game, or feminist groups about the way females are represented. Politicians don't give a shit who takes who side... and certainly not what side a video game company picks. Lighten up and get the sticks out of your asses!

i know they aren't the best ideas but it was the best i could think of. yes there are better champions suited for some of these skins granted. but some champions deserve skins more than others. champions that are over looked and underplayed. that is why i chose them. and riot could come up with better skins totally. I was just helping a fellow summoner promote a common interest. to get the community to help out and get this noticed by Riot employees.
