REWORKED Lore: Born to an elite warrior of Iona, Lu' Kae grew up strong, fast, and intelligent. From sneaking into his father's training sessions with Wukong, to eavesdropping on his war strategy discussions with the generals of the Ionian empire. Lu' Kae became wise beyond all his years. Soon he began to practice and master his father's WuJu style of martial arts, blending in his own power and speed. Lu' Kae eventually became his father's apprentice and partner in battle.

"Father created the style, it's up to me to perfect it beyond all measures."

  • Lu' Kae

Abilities:

Passive: Clear Mind - Every 45 seconds Lu' Kae focuses his power and mind by meditating, becoming aware of all his surroundings sensing all living things within 3500 range of him. This focus grants him with additional 15% attack speed for 10 seconds.

Q: Tri-Palm Strike - Lu' Kae channels his power into his palms for speed punches to deal additional 15% crit damage +30/40/50/60/70 physical damage for the first, 15% crit damage + 50/60/70/80/90 physical damage, and 15% crit damage + 70/80/90/100/110 physical damage.

W: Wuju Kick/Feet of fury - Active: Leaps at a target landing a kicking for 50/65/80/95/110 physical damage (+ 10% of overall crit damage). Passive: After landing a Wuju Kick, any basic attacks against the same target slow them by 5% and also increase his base attack damage 5 for 6 seconds.

E: Meditating Camouflage - Lu' Kae slows his heartbeat and calms his nerves melding into nature. Lu' Kae becomes are a 2 second channel invisible for 2/3/4/5/6 seconds. Any action besides movement will cancel the invisibility.

R: Wuju Dragon Stride - Lu' Kae draws in his power, granting an enormous speed boost. He becomes so quick that he becomes a blur. Lu' Kae is granted 100% additional movement speed for 3/5/7 seconds.

He would basic attack with a polearm like wukong. Look like that just Asian like Master YI and younger like 14 or 15 years old. http://www.deviantart.com/art/Anzai-Mizuno-228153603

So his ult is somewhat like Rumble but has a trail on the ground like Singed? Either way this would be an awesome champion.. Good job!

This is a bit iffy for such a heavily auto attack based champ. His passive's window of opportunity is short and can strike at inopportune times. His Q and W follow the same principles of continuing to auto as damage increases, but he has no ways of sticking to a target besides his ult. His E is... well its a skill, but there isn't much gameplay or counterplay involved in it. His ult is really the only interesting part of his kit (Run so fast he sets the ground on fire? That's an Ionian no-no), and that's mostly used so he can stay in range to attack. Basically, without items like Frozen Gauntlet and Mallet or Phage, this guy is borderline useless. With them, he's hardly passable. So how do we fix this? Well, this champ seems to borrow a lot of ideas from champs like Wukong, Xin Zhao and Master Yi. Unfortunately, he lacks one thing they all have: reliability. If his passive isn't up, he loses innate power. He can't get more than two autos off because he cannot stick to targets, losing more of the damage in his kit. A lot of his power budget ends up wasted because Lu'Kae can't keep up with the fight unless his team has cc. This is because he lacks reliability, specifically the ability to reliably hit targets several times. The solution is moving his power budget into more reliable sources of damage, crowd control, engage and other skills each champion brings to a fight. First off, his Q and W are more or less the same. Let's get that out of the way. Which means if the two are combined, (pick either one to keep, I don't care) there is a free spot for a new ability. This one should be his gapcloser, something that lets him stay in range for his next few attacks. Secondly, Lu'Kae needs a new passive. The old one gave him vision, so the new one should too. One commenter saw potential for his jungling (probably because monsters don't run away when you want to hit them), so the passive should suit a jungler. What do junglers need most in the scary woods? Vision. SO, how about trying something like this: Clear Mind: Lu'Kae gains increased awareness of his surroundings through meditation. By refraining from any action for 3 seconds, Lu'Kae gains vision of all units within range, stealthed or otherwise, for 4/5/6 seconds after he begins moving again. This combines the meditative aspects of his character with a jungler's need for vision and countervision. He can also counterjungle by standing still to see through walls. Did I mention it reveals wards? It's reliable, it's safe, and it's a whole new kind of skill that only the diligent Lu'Kae could bring to a team. With Lu'Kae, patience is the name of the game, and his E should be no exception. It's important to add counterplay to skills with invisibility, as it's just so incredibly difficult to deal with without the proper items. There should be at least a 1 to 3 second channel time for such a long burst of invisibility. Besides, he's supposed to "meditate," so it's kind of ridiculous to instantly turn invisible. Of course, while invisible, Lu'Kae needs time to reposition after the lengthy channel time. You should also add some bonus (perhaps movement speed towards enemies) to balance out his best ganking tool. I really hope I didn't come off as too critical. With a gapcloser, new passive and slight tweaks to his E, this guy starts looking a bit more viable. Keep working on your ideas, I like the concept of a less balls to the walls and more patient savant kind of jungler. Hope I could help :) Reviewer, away!summoner 4 P.S. that picture is pretty awesome. diggin those glasses
