Oh look... it's another of those anime characters that Kayn is similar too. Funny, cause when I call him an "anime edgelord" I get kids flaming me and arguing that he's not or that I'm an idiot or whatnot... or that "omg, just cause he's got X doesn't make him anime!".

Because god forbid someone in Japan actually drew about polearm and monsters. It's almost like saying a mage who uses staff and energy orbs is "generic" and bad or uninspired.

"Anime" is like live-action movies, it has an entire library of different things. I never hear anyone use "so live-action movie" as a metaphor when talking about something, so why should "so anime" be?

So because we've got the new Galio in the game, he's so "live-action movie", not even "superhero movie" but "live-action movie", or "anime" whichever you prefer?

Your entirely correct and something being anime doesn't make it by definition bad. Galio was a great example of this.
