Raul has a choice to choose either one on the 1st cast at level 6. The next cast will just swap the power spike. If Raul chooses Subjugate, he will glow red in colour. If he chooses Sorcery, he will glow in blue colour. For counterplay purpose :p At pre-6, all his abilities will just deal damage without the Subjugate/Sorcery bonus

Starting Items item 2041 item 2003 item 3340

Essential Items item 3047 item 3070 item 3101

Offensive Items item 3153 item 3146 item 3078 item 3115

Defensive Items item 3083 item 3027 item 3143

Playing as Raul

  • Raul has multiple build paths, he can either build HP for sustain with the mix of small additional damage, or Attack Damage bruiser to serve the Subjugate passive better, or vice-versa by building Ability Power to serve the Sorcery passive.
  • Be wise on choosing which passive on certain times since it has a very long cooldown.
  • If you plan to go damaging Raul instead of pure tank, an early item 3070 will benefit a lot to scale for late game.

Playing against Raul

  • If Raul glows in red, he is on the Attack Damage offensive side, gaining more destructive & sustainable damages. If Raul glows in blue, he is on the Ability Power offensive side, gaining advantageous spells accompanied with more irritating long range skillshots.
  • Raul has little escapes, so if he seems to be a threat at early game, consider ganking him more with your jungler.

Champion Concept

At instance, I see champs like Jayce or Nidalee who has the ability to be casting two different type of forms for a short period of time. Or Gnar who happens to pitifully be transformed when his own summoner, I mean player, didn't ordered him too. Poor creature. What my idea was, why not a champ who can prolong the transformation while receiving a hell load of good buffs from it. Not just any buffs, buffs that will certainly control the flow of the game if used right at certain times. So I had to kept thinking a lot of how to go-along with this type of buffs, so here is what I gotten. Hope you guys can share your thoughts into this. All of you are also welcome to fill the lore however you like :) except scumbaggy type of lores, or Teemo's dad has just arrived and shiet.

Go sorcery. Get stuns. Best melee duelist evar.

Seriously, I would build this guy just like AP on hit Teemo, or maybe a bit like Eve. The difference is instead of shroom fuckery, I just do stuns for days. Seriously, going sorcery makes him one of the best duelists out there.

I would likely build him something like this:

item 3009 item 3027 item 3115 item 3151 item 3091 item 3124

That puts him at just shy of 3k health, about 1100 bonus health, so +11 AP and AD. This should put you at about capped 2.5 attack speed (one attack every 2/5 of a second, so you'll be getting that 5th hit every 2 seconds). Max R>E>W>Q. Let's see, he would have 257 AP. That means every 2 seconds, he's dropping about 1350 magic damage (not including basic attack damage or spells) and stunning on top of it. Of course, that isn't factoring in MR.

Open up with his skillshot. 2 second stun. Use it to close (or if someone else has a slow, they can use that so you can do the full combo). 2 second stun, into 5 attacks (whaddaya know, that takes 2 seconds!) for another .5 seconds, which is ALMOST two more attacks. That's almost 7 attacks of stun. You're probably dead by then.

Stuns for days.

I would probably just stay in Sorcery.

HOWEVER. I am traditionally not awesome with transform champs. I also know they always have tons of problems and need to usually be worked a few times to get to a point where they are viable.
