Backbround: The Nine lords and ladies of the realm. It was a dream for anyone to work for them. They were the crutch of this world. They brought peace and prosperity to the land, and so when I got the letter hearing of the position I had been requested to fulfill it was a no brainer to go. I, a chef from a small seaside town from another world and brought into this one had been given a summons to be the head chef for the Nine. It was an honor beyond anything imaginable.
I worked hard ever since Is tarted cooking. Beginning when my father had left and died on a fishing trip, and taking care of my sick mother became my life. I cooked all the meals, and went to school to learn how to be a better cook, and even a doctor. My mothers condition though would not be cured, and after she had passed I vowed to myself I would try harder. Even when a portal opened and my curiosity led me forward, and it shut behind me. This was in my teen years. So, I studied in this land I came across everyday to become the best chef and doctor around. Still, I remained humble. I was only a boy in a small town with a large dream.
Graduating the top of my class at the age of 18, the youngest ever I had been told. I spent a few years in the town I had arrived in. Caring for those there and working at a small restruant I had opened. The letter came as a shock and a surprise. Apparently they heard of my skill, and one of their advisors had visited some time ago. The whole village praised me and I left to the capital to serve the Nine. For a time I forgot about my past life, but my mother stayed in my heart.
There I learned many techniques I couldn't have at the school and I continued to grow. Within a year of my stay there I had found the cure to my mothers illness. There were good times. I cursed myself for not finding the cure sooner, but knew my mother would not want me to. However, the good times ended very suddenly when the Nine became poisoned and died. Of course, I was the highest suspect as I prepared all their food personally as well as not being of this world. The land descended into chaos and I was on the run. I did not kill them. I would find whoever did and I would bring them to justice. In my time serving the Nine I was required to take self defense lessons in case I needed to protect myself, and more importantly, the Nine. I was able to fight well enough and my skills with my meals and the magic poured into them enhanced my body and those who saw my innocence and helped me.
The land descended into civil war as the one behind poisoning the Nine came into the light. Each of the Nine had a protege, and 5 of them had betrayed all. They wanted their time to rule to come and would not wait. And so, they were the only ones who brought the meals to the Nine. I only made them. It was found that those who took the meals from me and to their apprentices and finally to the Nine had been forced into poisoning the food and then killing themselves.
Relieved I was off the hook I fought alongside the soldiers able to stand against the Nine's apprentices and with the help of the other 4, and my cooking which enhanced the armies we were victorious and for a time all was well. Then, as the kingdom was at its peak of peace a rift opened in the sky. I knew to which this rift led, and just as quickly as it had come it was gone. No one knew why. No one knew how. Not even me. All I knew for sure is that when I awoke I was no longer in the realm of the Nine. I was elsewhere. A place called Runeterra. The place of my birth. Here I sought a new purpose again. Here I sought to help those who needed good food, health, and care. I had a heavy heart for leaving my home in the world of the Nine behind, but a new, bright heart for a new life and a new purpose within the home world of my mother and I led me onwards.
The picture I chose to represent Lizan (Lie-z-an) was Sanji from One Piece. It was really the only pictures I could find of a Chef/Cook that wasn't too cartoony or grotesque. The rights for the picture go to the makers and creators of One Piece as well as the artist who drew the fan art I am using. There are minor differences from Sanji and my character. I shall list them below when I come across them in the personality and appearance sections.
Appearance: http://static.tumblr.com/a1d982529589c102780e103e92963d89/4eipwgc/3Q4mubihq/tumblr_static_sanji.full.790873.jpg The main differences between Lizan and the picture (Sanji) are that Lizan's eyebrows do NOT have that curl going on. Other than that Sanji pretty much resembles Lizan. Also, unlike Sanji Lizan does not fight close quarters. Instead he uses kitchen utensils (Butter Knives) to attack by throwing them much like throwing knives. He is deadly accurate with them and can even throw them so hard and so well as to pierce armor and bone.
Age: 23 Height: 5' 9" Weight: 135lbs He is lean and lithe. Not bulky and of average body build.
Movement/Weapons: He runs much like Lucian except without the guns and his arms held up. As stated he uses butter knives as his weapons and throws them at enemies.
Passive: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/2/icons_1010_btn.jpg *Chef of the Nine - * Lizan has perfected his craft. Everytime an ally eats one of his dishes he gains a percentage of the benefit based upon his level.
Lizan has honed his skills as a chef and knows his utensils. Every 5th basic attack he throws out and extra 4 knives for a total of 5 knives. These extra knives fan out before him with the same range as his basic attack and do the same amount of damage. This is pretty much an extension of his attack.
Base percentage start: 4% Percentage increase per level: 3% Total percentage gained at lvl18: 55%
Q http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/14/icons_13743_btn.jpg Curry of Fire: Lizan takes 0.25s to create this dish and places it within the area upon a table. An ally can click on this dish to pick it up and eat it. Consuming upon picking it up. The Curry of Fire adds a bonuse of 50/70/90/110/130 (+50% AP) bonus magic damage on basic attacks. In addition they gain a 150 radius AoE on the magic damage. This effect lasts for 3/5/7/10/13s.
Enemies who run over the Curry activate it taking 70/90/110/130/150 (+30% AP) worth of magic damage and an additional 100 (+10% maximum HP) magic over the next 6s.
The table of Curry lasts for 5s. Allies take 0.1s to consume.
Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 Cooldown: 30/27/25/23/21s Range: 600 unit radius cast range. Table radius is 200.
Note: Lizan cannot eat his own dishes. They are not for him after all. Enemies who activate the dishes also make the dishes disappear. Get it while its hot!
W http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/17/icons_16999_btn.jpg Blue Fish Soup: Lizan grew up on the sea and this was one of his first dishes he had ever created and perfected. A favorite of his mothers. Lizan takes 0.25s to prepare this dish and places it upon a table within the area. An ally may click and consume this dish. Consuming this dish gives 100/125/150/175/200% mana recovery as well as a shield that blocks and absorbs the next ability that hits them. Mana recovery lasts for 3/5/7/10/13s. The shield lasts until an ability hits it. Lizan also gains this shield.
Enemies who run over the Blue Fish Soup are slowed by 15/20/25/30/35% and have 10/15/20/25/30 reduced Armor and MR for the next 5s.
The table of Blue Fish lasts for 5s. Allies take 0.1s to consume.
Cost: 80/90/100/110/120 Cooldown: 25/23/21/19/17s Range: 600 unit radius cast range. Table radius is 200.
Note: Lizan cannot eat his own dishes. They are not for him after all. Enemies who activate the dishes also make the dishes disappear. Get it while its hot!
E http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/13/icons_12110_btn.jpg Monks Green Tea: Lizan learned much of the ways of healing from his schooling, and perfected an amazing tea. This tea, if only perfected sooner would've saved his mother, but now he uses it in her memory to help others.
Lizan takes 0.25s to prepare this tea. He then places it upon a table in the area and allies who click and consume it are healed for 10/15/20/25/30% of their maximum health over the next 3s and any anomolies are cured (Poison, bleed, etc.) and stuns are innefective during this time.
Enemies who pass over Monks Green Tea are poisoned and take 10/15/20/25/30% of their maximum HP + their magic resist as damage over the next 7s.
The table of Green Tea lasts for 5s. Allies take 0.1s to consume.
Cost: 90/95/100/105/110 Cooldown: 30/27/25/23/21s Range: 600 unit radius cast range. Table radius is 200.
Note: Lizan cannot eat his own dishes. They are not for him after all. Enemies who activate the dishes also make the dishes disappear. Get it while its hot!
R http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/5/icons_4082_btn.jpg Ultimate Feast: Upon activation Lizan prepares a feast. For the next 2.25s he prepares a feast. After he is done there are placed 3 of each dish around him within their radius. The abilities go on cooldown and they each have added bonuses.
Curry of Fire: 30/40/50 increased damage for basic attacks as well as upon activation of an enemy. Enemies also take and additional 50 damage over time + and extra 10% maximum HP damage.
Blue Fish Soup: Instant 100/200/300 mana upon consumption. Enemies are stunned instead of slowed for 0.25/0.5/0.75s and their Armor and MR are reduced by an extra 10/20/30.
Monks Green Tea: Automatic 200/300/400 health recovery upon consumption. Health regen replaces the heal over time. Their health regen is increased by 200/250/300%. Enemies take an additional 5/10/15% of their health as damage over time.
The tables last for 5s. Allies take 0.1s to consume.
Cost: 100/150/200 Cooldown: 150/140/130 Range: 800 unit radius cast range. Table radius's are 200.
Note: Lizan cannot eat his own dishes. They are not for him after all. Enemies who activate the dishes also make the dishes disappear. Get it while its hot! Note 2: Upon activating this skill the 800 unit radius shall appear. Afterwhich the player must select the skill they wish with Q, W, and E then place the tables where they wish in whatever order they wish. Afterwhich the prep time begins (The 2s cast time). After the tables are set all the abilities go on cooldown. Also, the player can instantly activate the ultimate after placing less than the full 9 by pressing the ultimate button after placing the desired amount. Each table placed is 0.25s worth of cast time and so if only 1 table is placed then the cast time is only 0.25s. The more placed the longer the cast time. Note 3: If Curry is the only one placed and they activate the ultimate early then only the ultimate and the curry go on cooldown. Same with if just the tea or the fish were placed with the ultimate or a combination of them.
Quotes, sayings, information, random stuff about the champion:
Upon selection: "I'll fill that stomach." "Someone call for a chef?" "Bon apetite!"
Attacking: "These were not meant to be used this way...." "Perfectly good silverware gone to waste." "I know I complain, but in times like these I use what's available." "I'll serve you on a platter!"
Taunts: "I'll grill you slowly over an open fire and serve you and your friend with white sauce and red wine," To Fizz. "Mon Cherie, it is a disgrace to defile that beauty, but upon defeat I'll make sure to serve you up nice," To Nami. "I may not be the best fighter, but step into my kitchen and you'll get burned." "Kitty want a fishy?" To Regnar and Nidalee (Should Nidalee be in animal form).
Comments: "Mon Cheries, you are the beauty of this sea. I would hate to face you in combat," To Nami. "Who are you behind that suit? You look familiar...." To Nautilus. "This river....I wonder if there are any good fish here?" when walking along the river in Summoners Rift.
Moving: His comments when moving are pretty generic.
Voice: His voice is about the same tone/age as Twisted Fates, but with a more sophisticated way about him.
Dying: Upon dying you can hear him say "Mother....I shall see you again."
Recalling: When recalling he pulls up a stovetop and begins preparing a dish which turns out to be a giant pancake. This he flies away on. It's one of his little jokes and fun animations.
Lore related theory: Lizan is Nautilus's child. His father went on a "Fishing" trip. Not wanting to worry his family for the dangers of his mission and so he had lied to them. He had not returned to his family as his family was no more. His wife dead and his son whisked away to another world through a magic anomaly. This same anomaly brought him back to which Lizan remember his father slightly from the suit his father had for his "Fishing" trips, but it was warped and looked much different now.
This theory of course could be completely false, or not. I made this theory because I thought it was fun, and would give depth to both sides. Perhaps the portal opened in the world of Runeterra so that Lizan could learn about healing and cooking and then opened up so he may use these teachings to save his father? Who knows. Let me know what you guys think of this ^_^ Do you approve? Yay or nay? No hate.
Personality: Caring, kind, a romantic (But not overly so like Sanji), humble, and very nice.
Playing as Lizan: Lizan is a mobile support champion. Capable of changing the time in any fight with the right setup and placement of his abilities. Capable of enhancing his allies and allowing a good push or an excellent defense. He works best in a lane with other champions. Top or bottom. Top is more of an advantage due to his medium range abilities. Able to be placed within melee range of the enemy and can force them to walk over his abilities. In bottom lane this is much harder to do due to the range of the champions.
He should always be away from the front line of battles and continue to give food and drink out to his allies. His allies should watch and make sure they gather the food he gives out for the advantages.
Lizan is very easily countered if alone on the field. NEVER allow him to be alone. If you see him alone it is best to shut him down quickly. While his abilities can damage the enemy and help against them they are also very easily avoidable and keeping on him will give him no time to prepare his abilities. Thus rendering him useless.
Lizan is a champion that can make or break a game. A good Lizan player will strategically place their food in key spots for their team and stay away from the enemy. Using Curry to damage enemies and Blue Fish to render them slow enough to land the Curry placement. Lizan takes lots of placement and strategy.

There you have Lizan, Chef of the Nine! He has a bit of a crazy story but one I enjoy. A simple story of a child who strove everyday to be something great and continued after losing his mother. I do enjoy creating unique concepts that may fit into other champions stories. Let me know what you think! Vote +/- depending on what you think he deserves lore, kit, and all around wise!
Let me know below what you think and leave me feedback! No hate though please. If you don't like him that's fine, but keep it civil! For feedback I am willing to converse with people and explain things if people need clarifications or anything as well as working together to improve my champion! ^_^ Thank you!
