[Champion Concept] Nana and the Baby (Discussion)

A while back there were a number of posters that had asserted a desire for an old crone champion to be added to LoL. Our answer from the Reds?

We need more than just an old woman, we need a kit and lore.

So that is something I've been pondering on and I've a few aspects that I think might work, though I've only managed to get a few ideas down.

A lot of people agreed on a general idea of how the champion might look.

Somewhere between Yubaba from Spirited Away.

And more of an old witch like so.

This champion would herald from any number of places. Kaladoun, Serpentine River, Bubbling Bog, Howling Marsh, The Great Barrier, Voodoo Lands, Fyrone Flats, Kumungu or even the Shadow Isles.

She doesn't come alone though. This old witch has a little power, namely granting her the power to float (allowing her some speedy movement despite her age.) She also has a nasty curse. But the bulk of this champions power doesn't come from the old crone.

It comes from the baby.

Carried on her back is a small figure shrouded in perpetual darkness, it's little white eyes peeping out now and then before yawning and drifting back to sleep.

But when the baby wakes...

This small creature is nothing to joke over, for it's power becomes formidable despite being an infant.

The lore and kit ideas I have so far are as such, I'll try to keep it short, but there's a lot of room to expand.

>LORE: The old woman had enjoyed a peaceful life, finally finding a refuge away from the people that harassed her for her magic. She had found a peaceful asylum for herself and had spent countless years enjoying her solitude. It was not fated to last though.

>She doesn't know where the baby came from, but one day he was simply there, swaddled in his little basket, sleeping away. The old womans heart may have been bitter, but she was not evil. Taking the child home, she made him comfortable and took care of him for a time. She soon learned though, he was more than a simple infant.

>A quiet child by nature, the woman thought nothing of it until the day he grew upset and cried out. The bolt of lightning nearly tore the wall off of her small house. She knew magic when she saw it. And this child was filled to the brim with it.

>Now she seeks one to help contain the power of this child, or perhaps the parent, whoever can help her to prevent the child from loosing power upon Runterra the likes of which none have seen before.

"Shh! You'll wake the baby!"

As far as kit design goes, I'm not going to go into specific numbers, simply kit ideas for the abilities I have considered possible so far.

>Passive: Curse: Nana' basic attacks and Q inflict a curse on her targets, causing her abilities to deal bonus damage. The curse lasts for 5 seconds and cannot stack, simply be refreshed.

>Basic Attack: Honestly, I just want her to hurl a black bolt at people lol.

>Q: Low damage, medium cool down. Straight line skill shot. Benefits most from passive as it has a % damage multiplier attached for cursed opponents.

>W: Medium damage, high cool down. The baby cries out. A ground targeted AoE explosion with electric particles. Slows and leaves a minor DoT on targets hit (static stun lol.)

>E: Medium damage, high cool down. The infant hungers, a circle of runes appear before draining all enemies within of a portion of their health, healing Nana and the baby for a portion of their health and mana.

>R: High cool down. The infant grows angry and reaches into it's power well, transforming into a fierce demon. During this time Nana goes into hiding, vanishing until the baby has calmed down. During this time the baby has a group of 4/6/8 sigils. Using these, the baby can cast it's spells with severely reduced cool downs. This will NOT be a toggled transformation. Once activated, you have a time limit or until you run out of sigils before you will automatically transform back.

If anyone has any ideas to contribute, feel free to. :)
