Marauder Ashe? Marauder "princess of peace"?

it just doesn't really fit with her character or lore. I could see tryndamere being a marauder, but for the two leaders I think sejuani would have been a much better pick.

Skins don't have to follow the lore.

no, they don't have to, but at the same time they're supposed to fit the characters that they're for.

Ashe as a character represents peaceful resistance, whereas the winter's claw (and sejuani by default) represent militant protest.

Skins, according to Riot, are allowed to offer an alternative representation of a character or a different story of a character. They've always done it, one example is Arcade Hecarim, that skin doesn't fit his original lore. More recently we have Garen's new 750 skin where he's a pirate captain.

a rogue admiral, more specifically. meaning that he was a government official who stopped doing his duty.

it still somewhat fits as the captain of the demacian forces.

I get that the skins offer alternatives for the character, but I feel that there's a big difference between "what if hecarim was robot unicorn" and "here's this chick who represents a historical peace movement and now she's a blood thristy marauder."

But not really. You can blab on here all you want, you're not really going to achieve anything.

It's Riot's philosophy about skins. They don't have to follow original lore. Every champion needs a dark and light theme Ashe got hers.

A skin is the same character in an alternate universe.

Like the others said, skins do not follow either the lore or the champion's theme. It just being created at random.

those are jokish skins. I doubt that there are many beaches in runeterra that have surf shops.

also very few high class clubs that host black tie affairs.

the rest of the marauders fit. all of the wardens fit.

as I said already, I don't expect to make a difference here especially considering the skin's been out for a while, but Ashe is the one marauder skin that doesn't fit.
