Hopefully unique ability concept

Hi, not much for coming up with entire champions, especially names and damage numbers. So, here's an ability I thought would be really neat if it were implemented somehow.

Champion: Speardude (not final)

Q: Placeholder Name

1st Cast: Speardude throws a spear to the targeted location (skillshot) that deals X% of the targets maximum health, and slows by 20% for 1 second. This projectile impales the first target, or instance of terrain that it comes in contact with (passes through minions, but not large and epic monsters). If the spear does come in contact with something, it remains for ~7 seconds.

2nd Cast: A second spear is thrown, functionally the same as the first one. However this spear is connected to the other one by some form of rope. This rope can always be broken by enemy champions not effected by this ability by simply walking through it. However this deals significant damage tot he champion, and slows by 40% for 2 seconds. This ability can create a handful of scenarios.

1). If the first spear hits an enemy champion, a large range indicator is created around Speardude. If the enemy champion exits the range, the tether is broken, and all other effects are prevented.

2). If the first spear hits an enemy champion, a large range indicator is created around Speardude. If the second cast makes contact with terrain, without the enemy champion leaving the range, the range indicator then moves to the location of the 2nd spear. This creates a tether that cannot be broken, except through another enemy champion passing through it. The effected champion cannot move past the indicated range until the spears disappear (the first spear lasts a total of 7 seconds).

3). If both spear casts make contact with terrain, a short lasting trap can be made, causing significant damage and a 40% slow to the first champion to pass through it. Can only be created if the rope itself does not pass through a wall (i.e. no ghostly ropes).

There are a few other scenarios I did not feel like drawing out, but here they are.

4). Both spears manage to hit different enemy champions. This creates a range indicator in the MIDDLE of the rope, causing both champions to be confined to that range until the spears disappear.

5). Both spears hit the same enemy champion. Nothing special happens, but the damage does get applied twice for obvious reasons.

Finally here are some other notes about the ability for people interested:

If the first cast does not make contact with an enemy or terrain, the second cast does become an option.

Aside from champions and walls, the spears affect the following: turrets, fallen turrets, epic monsters, large monsters, and created terrain (i.e anivia wall). For each of these cases the range indicator is located at the targets named.

If I decide to continue with this concept, it's pretty likely that the second ability would create some for of terrain form speardude to play around with.

I agree that this ability seems super overloaded, but I think in practice it would feel a lot simpler. Tell me what you think.

I've got a concept like this in the works, although it isn't a spear, and it's not rope.

The design is based on the idea of using multiple swords to fight around area, and the blades are connected by ribbons that trip up enemies. It's not as complex as your idea, but I also have the rest of the kit to build as well. Love the idea.
