Referring to particle effects primarily, we've had a total of 3 distinctly red Jhin skins this year (Blood Moon, SKT, and now PROJECT). Even the release skin is a shade of reddish orange. Why exactly does this keep happening?
Not sure, but I'd be angry if I were Jhin. Red is a three letter word, so hideous. Now blue, that's a great color. (Probably wasn't intentional, the red color fits blood moon, skt lines. And in project he is corrupted and that can be symbolized with red)

Blood moon is an exception in the Blood Moon line though, its a mix of dark blue and red, producing purple too, while proyect Jhin is dark red and black.
I do admit that I kinda wanted a clear blue energy Proyect Jhin, to make him even more different from the rest of Proyects
Maybe he's a communist.
I also hope he gets a bit of a color rework. I mean he's the Golden Demon... Doesn't necessarily need to be gold, but some purple would be just fine..
