Leth, The Hindered Templar

STATS HP|600+100 HP5|8+0.9 MP|280+35 MP5|6+0.6 AD|70+6 AS|0.5+2 AR|30+4 MR|32.1+1.25 MS|330 RG|200

Passive: Critical Break Leth wields a greatsword with his one arm, granting him relatively low attack speed. Leth's greatsword is enchanted with magic and only deals 125% damage on Critical Strikes, Critical Strikes are converted into True Damage. Leth's greatsword can be upgraded in the shop for additional stats.

Q: Sweeping Blade CD 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 | Cost 50/55/60/65/70 Leth empowers his next basic attack to cleave a 250 unit 90° cone in front of him, dealing 40/50/60/70/80% damage to other units and applying on-hit effects.

W: Onslaught CD 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 | Cost 60/70/80/90/100 | Range 350/150 | Radius 150 1st Cast: Leth rushes 350 Units forward knocking enemies away, and may recast within 1.5 Seconds. 2nd Cast: Leth thrusts his sword forward and explodes it to send enemies flying 500 Units away dealing 60/100/140/180/220 + (50% Attack Damage) Physical Damage, and (75% Attack Damage) Physical Damage if they hit a wall.

E: Tap Out CD 20/19/18/17/16 | Cost 70 | Range 450/475/500/525/550 Leth exchanges positions with a target allied unit, granting them both a shield for 40/60/80/100/120 + (30% Attack Damage 40% Ability Power) that lasts 2.5 Seconds, the shield is only 50% effective when used on a minion.

R: Blade of Calamity CD 155/125/95 | Cost 150 | Range 300/4,000 | Radius 225 Leth engulfs his sword in flames and after channeling for 1 Second performs a downward strike sending out a destructive wave in the direction. The strike deals 125/250/375 + (125% Attack Damage) as Physical Damage, and the wave deals 100/200/300 + (100% Attack Damage) as Physical Damage to all enemies passed through, these damages can critically strike. The wave is cast from the edge of the strike. The wave can break through 1 wall, leaving an opening for 10 Seconds. After casting Leth gains Calamity Flames for 10 Seconds.

Calamity Flames: Leth deals (8/10/12% Attack Damage) as Physical Damage to units around him every 0.5 Seconds, this damage can critically strike.

ITEM

Ruin Edge/Scourge Edge/Anguish Edge/ Calamity Edge: 1/2/3/5 Attack Damage per level(18/36/54/90) 5/10/15/20% Life Steal 10/15/20/25% Critical Chance

Unique Passive: Critical Hits deal 25/50/75/100% increased damage against shields and minions/monsters.

Upgrade Cost: 1,000G/1,000G/2,000G

Leth is a very late-game oriented champion, getting a high scaling damage item and high base stats. Level 18 with with Steraks Essence IE and his passive weapon upgraded he gains something like 305 Bonus AD, on top of his 150 AD for 455. Add in Trinity for 480 AD and a 300 proc from spellblade.

Leth's weapon costs 4,000g to upgrade, so it is VERY expensive, and might need lowered.

Think of him like a melee AD version of Vel'Koz damage-wise. Mostly true damage once you're full build, but Leth is pretty weak before that.

Oooo. I also have a one-armed champion. He's the Noxian Warmason from Taiki's story. No spoilers as to how that happened, though. You'll just have to wait and see.

Still, interesting champion. Motherfucker has a damn greatsword and does just fine.

I actually suggest making his crit do 125% physical damage as true damage.

His attack speed is sad (though it makes perfect sense with him), and usually champions with lower attack speed have unique autos (graves and jhin). I believe you are well aware of that (you always are. your concepts are literally as balanced as concepts can be), but his "special attack" is a bit weak.

That life steal on his unique item is also a bit awkward. Life steal is mostly meant for characters with high attack speed (or high attack damage), and despite that 150 base AD, it probably isn't the greatest stat for him.

I suggest give his abilities AS ratio, meaning let them do more damage when he builds "on-hit." Building one of the crit/AS item is almost required for any crit champion, and that AS is basically wasted for Leth due to his low base attack speed.

great concept nonetheless.

(btw how do you make links into pictures? I don't know how...) I also made a concept based on that image I took from you. I think it's decent.

Recently I've been brainstorming on a concept that doesn't have auto attack (it was an idea brought up on boards a few days ago, you probably saw it).

Heroes of the Storms have a very interesting champion (the link is to its wiki page)

He basically forms a creature that stays on a certain ally, and you can control that creature to shield the ally, damage enemies, etc. The creature also gives him (not host) exp.

That champion is actually very neat. He has global pressure, and he has a unique play style known as "soaking exp." It basically means you place the actual champion near lane(but under tower where he is safe), and use that "creature" to help out others while also gaining exp from them, eventually granting you a huge level advantage over the enemy.

I think a few of these mechanics can be implanted in a different form, what do you think?
