Okay so the winter event skins are nice. Also just saw the new set of Bloodmoon skins on Youtube the other day, again nice! But lets stop ignoring the elephant in the room.

By elephant I mean champs you haven't touched in nearly 2+ years, and by ignore I LITERALLY MEAN ignore. Like, almost forgot they existed levels of ignore.

The reason I'm bringing up this whole champions skin thing again like I have in other posts is because I couldn't help but notice how Soraka just got a Winter Wonder skins after she JUST LITERALLY got a Pajama Guardians skin a few weeks ago. Yeah sure that skin doesn't cost much if you had the original star guardian skin but it's the principle of the thing.

There's still a nice big chunk of the champion roster that goes completely ignored and (I'm using this word literally) UNLOVED!

Look at Yorick, he is literally the greatest example of this argument. Dude has been around since season 2 (maybe season 1, i wasn't in season 1.) and he only has 3 skins! THREE SKINS!!! How does that even work!? Heck Kassadin hasn't gotten one for a good long while. Vel'koz hasn't gotten one since 2016 and we're almost into 2019! Karthus gets no love, kog'maw got that nice Hextech skin but that's locked behind gems or luck of a box drop. Corki hasn't gotten anything since his Arcade skin. Ivern still isn't getting any love. The list goes on!

All I'm trying to say is. Maybe...maaaaaaaaaaaaybe give a little love to the ones you been ignoring? Volibear could use a new skin. Maybe Taric as well? Nocturne too? Maokai even!?

The Pajamas were acknowledged to be an experiment with a new skin format, so I wouldn't count them in the normal skin line up such as "Soraka received 2 skins in a row BLARGH!!!!" They specifically picked Star Guardians because the skins were insanely popular and have a rabid following, so they could easily gauge public interest in this new skin format through this line - and they specifically chose the champs they chose because they were not the legendaries in the line, and all champions are pretty consistently popular as well. So I don't think making a case for unloved champions using Soraka is a good case to make considering her circumstances were very special.

If you discard the Pajama skins, her last skin WAS Star Guardian Soraka last year, which was a full year between that and her new Winter Wonder skin, which is the standard time frame for when champions can get new skins again.

That said, there has been some blatant skippings, such as Ivern and Ornn, so I do sympathize. However, don't bring this video up in this argument, because again, you're not using your information correctly. What she addressed in this video was that there were low popularity champions getting skins this year - Specifically, Illaoi, Aurelion Sol, Heimerdinger, and Amumu. They ACTIVELY announced and stuck with it to give these champions - who hadn't had skins at all or hadn't had one in years - and gave them new skins. So she didn't ignore the elephant in the room, she addressed 4 gigantic elephants and delivered for them.
