Untimely Champion Creation Contest (UCCC): Community Choice [Poll]

So I wanted to do my own contest, because I royally screwed up on my first attempt. I thought I would try this again, and host a contest now that I have a far better understanding of how everything works. Now, as for the theme, I don't want to just rehash preexisting contest themes. In a strange twist for a champion creation contest, I thought it would be a really neat idea for you to pick your own poison. So the poll will be available to vote on a theme, I won't give you all the requirements and what not, but you as a community will be able to pick the general idea of what you're rolling with. I'll give an example of what to expect though. Types of themes will include:

From the Abyss: Dealing with Valorian's vast waters, and the awakening of the race that killed Fizz's people, and Nami's have held at bay with the moonstone. Without it, the Aestrals can finally return to dominance.

Rise of the Void: The rift between dimensions has opened wide in Icaria, revealing the long lost city only to collapse it into oblivion. Many heroes, villains, and horrors will emerge from this, but who will emerge victorious, or more accurately alive, is anyone's guess.

Shifting Sands: Many things lie beneath the sands of Shurima, forgotten by all. But they have not forgotten. As Azir had begun to rekindle his empire, he unknowingly brought back a great terror with him.

Fall of Demacia: Jarvan III has died of unknown causes. Chaos grows in Demacia, giving rise to radicals who which to overthrow the monarchy altogether, and its enemies seek to attack Demacia in its time of weakness. Will you help restore order, or embrace chaos?

Zaunite Convention: The brilliant and insane minds of Zaun have gathered together to unleash new weapons into the world of Runeterra. Some have equipped themselves with weapons of destruction, others have created life to carry out the means, and still others have imitated it for the same purpose. What monstrosity will you create?

Resurrection: The growing power of the Shadow Isles has begun to resurrect the dead from all over Runeterra. Many may join the Shadow Isles as they have already given a lifetime to their places of origin. As either one of the resurrected, or one of the living, you must chose whether to embrace the Shadows of Death, or to cleanse them from the world.

Equilibrium: A spiritual leader has begun asserting their self in Ionia, promising order and unity to their followers. They also wish to spread this to all of Runeterra, cleansing or enslaving those who stand in the way of this goal. As the pinnacle of spiritual power rises, the balance of worlds begins to fluctuate as well, indicating the disequilibrium of the universe. Support the rise of this savior, or bring down the tyrant before all is lost. (Inspired by Legend of Korra)

Rise of the Yordles: Yordles. Yordles everywhere. The saying goes, "Anything a person could do would be really funny to watch a yordle attempt," and the Yordles have taken this to new extremes, especially with the crashing of another ship! That's right, new, strange yordles have arrived to Runeterra, in a variety of shapes, but always the same size! As a yordle during this time, you must have a chosen path, and find a place in this new world!

Anyway, these are what I've come up with as far as themes, I think its a nice little smorgasbord. Once a theme is decided upon, I'll be looking for judges and what not, feel free to apply, however, I would prefer you have a good idea of the process. Here's the basic scoring guide to expect:

Required elements: Name, title, description (text or written), role, base stats, descriptive gameplay section. Failure to include any of these is grounds for disqualification.

Lore: 15 pts. A background to the character in either of Riots lore styles, no longer than 700 words. Should convey champions origin, motivation, and future path. Clear use of English, strong description of champion character and cohesive flow in writing are rewarded.

Abilities: 25 pts. 5 points for each of Passive, 3 normal skills and Ultimate. They are judged on standalone innovation, balance, suitability for role, counterplay, and emergent gameplay.

Gameplay: 10 pts. This section looks at the kit as a whole, if the skills cover all required abilities of the role. If the abilities work well together without being overbearing or abusive. If they allow for a variety of interesting interactions with this character.

Challenges: 9 points. Yes, there will be challenges based on faction, class, and race. Meeting these criteria in a way the judges deem a successful and creative fulfillment of the challenges will earn you these points. (3 for faction, 3 for class, 3 for race, unless otherwise stated).

Here's a rundown on one of the themes, so you can kinda know what to expect as far as what the contest may look like.

Theme: From the Abyss

This is all about Valoran's vast waters, both the Conqueror's and Guardian's seas. Judging by Fizz and Nami's lore, we can assume they come from the Guardian's Sea, but not much is known about its rival. For the purposes of this contest, you will create an original champion concept OR relaunch to fit this theme. The given factions will be:

This contest is all about Valoran's vast waters, both the Conqueror's and Guardian's seas. Judging by Fizz and Nami's lore, we can assume they come from the Guardian's Sea, but not much is known about its rival. For the purposes of this contest, you will create an original champion concept OR relaunch to fit this theme. The given factions will be:

Marai: Nami's people, and residents of the Guardian's Sea. The Marai seek to keep the shadows of the deep at bay, but can only do so with the Moonstone. Some time has passed, and their Tidecaller has yet to return. As the shadows surround them, a new hero must ensure the Marai's survival.

Pirates: The "citizens" of Bilgewater refuse to stand idle as their domain is overtaken. A variety of characters could arise from this, but who will be able to cheat, steal, and kill their way to glory remains yet to be seen. To overcome certain doom, a true legend must arise to force darkness back into the depths.

Navy/Navies: Officers/Mariners of any of the major city-states (Demacia, Noxus/Zaun, Ionia, Piltover, or the Frejlord, these mighty few will have a variety of reasons for their actions, but ultimately one goal: Success. Demacia seeks to restore order, Noxus/Zaun seeks power/resources, Ionia and Frejlord may have a reason unique or one that fits any of the other reasonings, and Piltover seeks order/resources.

Aestrals: The forces of oceanic darkness in Valoran, the Aestrites had been kept at bay for centuries by the Marai, but no more. These creatures vary in size, shape, and color, but maintain the same goal: Domination. Research suggests that these creatures have a hive-like mentality, and usually do not conflict with their own. Others also believe that Aestrals may have some connection to the Void, yet there is no support to this theory.

Independent: Anyone who does not fall under the listings above would count as independent. However, you must give a specific reasoning for their involvement in the matters at hand.

This was what my first attempt at a contest would have been, and so you can see what to expect sort of. This option will be available, as well as many others. Choose wisely :)
