I think it would be awesome if there were skins that could only be unlocked with a certain amount of mastery points on a champion.
Like make skins that you have to have for example lvl 7 mastery and 300k or 500k mastery points. Something like that.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
MagicFlyingLlama4 votesI believe riot was considering or mentioned mastery chromas at some point. Giving away skins would be a bit much, and making entirely new ones for every champion will never happen due to the incredible amount of work involved.

No (but also yes), but really, mastery chromas would be awesome! It certainly would give some extra incentive to master characters, and make people wonder what (mystery?) chroma they'd receive with mastery of x character -- which could possibly lead to more drive to buy x, y, or z character?
I dunno. I like it, though!

It should at least change the effects too, since we did put time into that champ. It would be nice to see them use different color particles for this mastery chromas.

That is all about chance. I keep getting stuff for Vi, Garen, Poppy (mainly top lane), and I am an ADC / MID main. So, it's kind of like knowing you are getting a present for your birthday and all you want is a puppy, but yours parents get you a goldfish. It's a pet, just not one you really wanted. Do you see where I am coming from?
