Ahri where abouts concept

In the recent LCS 2018 Concert I noticed that while first falling with the trophy her eyes were no longer Golden Cat Eyed. They were darker and human shaped. Was this just mistake? The story i've developed for her from what i've collected after reading her Bio, Garden of Forgetting and A Fair Trade leads to Ahri basically being an adventure/traveler searching for clues about her past. In the video she finds the LCS trophy surrounded by Summoner Statues that are supposed to represent us. As the trophy begins to release its remaining power she discovers the truth about her universe and sees visions of other champions she has yet to meet. She can see people that look like her (cosplay) and believes that there are more like her wherever that is, so she begins to lead her descent with the trophy hoping to cross a rift that will bring her to the people that look like her so she can learn more about her kind, us. She of course fails to cross in time and breaks her fall using her powers, but where does the story go from there? She in the end is still in runeterra but the LCS trophy has released new information to her about a time and place no one has memories of.

Also I consider it to be a plot hole that she was able to hide herself away from everyone when it says

"She was successful, for a time, but was tortured by her unending hunger and soon succumbed to temptation, indulging in the dreams of an entire coastal village."
