i would have liked this over another kat skin.. i mean when is too many skins for one champ going to be too many?

Don't understand why people complain about this. Kat got a skin after a year, and now she has more than 8 or whatever the amount skins. Is the purpose of these complaints supposed to say champs with skins cant have any more unless newer champs get just the same amount? This isnt going to happen.

Let them be - Honestly, I didn't really see anyone complaining about Master Yi having 2 skins in the same year or about annie having her 12th skin (including her classic) this year. But now they come with saying that kat's skin is horrible - Please, the OP's skin is a genuine copy & paste from the kat's face into Diana's face

In the case of Annie, she only has like 4-5 skins actually in the store now. Half of them are legacy or behind other barriers (collector's edition or hextech loot). That's something people never take into account when talking number of skins. Let's say Ryze has 10 skins but none of them are available in the store. If someone were maining Ryze and really wanted a skin for him they'd have 0 options unless they were playing the game during the limited time his skins were available originally. He technically has 10 skins, but to most people he has 0.

Then should I also use Katarina in this example? She has the same amount of All-Time-Availability skins than annie.

Personally, I would also say that Red Card Katarina seems like a limited edition simply because the skin was never on sale since its release - Although it can be obtained in chests it is based on pure luck and the only guaranteed way of having it is by being an OTP and having all her remaining skins in order to unlock it in "My Shop" (that's what I needed to do).

In general Katarina has less skins than annie - So I think it makes no sense to go around complaining about Katarina getting a skin (and ignoring annie). That's just my opinion of course, but I also agree with the fact that some champions should also have skins more frequently.

The complaint isn't "kat getting another skin"

The complaint is that Death Sworn are our harrowing skins, and Katarina already has a harrowing skin (kitty cat) so this seemed like a missed opportunity to give another champion a harrowing skin rather then just using kat twice.

Diana is actually pretty lucky in the skin department TBH. She has 4 skins, all of which are 975 tier+.

It seems that the Deathsworn skin line is meant for assassins. So I'm sure Diana will get a skin like that. Can we get one for Ekko too?? ;p

I am totally sure that's a pure copy paste from Katarina's Skin - Diana's face proves it all and specially her hair. Although Diana's hands are not the same along with her legs, it still shows no creativity at all.

I mean, they even left the scar in Diana's face, I mean ... what?

They didn't leave the scar on Diana's face, Diana has makeup on that creates that look on both sides, you can see that in this picture too.

Ya, and surprisingly it is clearly shown in the exact same eye and even then, having in both sides, doesn't hide the fact that they merged one skin to another character. It just sounds like they are attempting to hide something that's clearly a replica of the original one.

I do acknowledge it is a great work, not going to discredit that, but they could have come with a better design (more original) - Specially the hair.

Dude you have to understand something about concept ( ARTISTS ) creators they wont sit around for endless hours creating a unique skin for a champion they just take whats out there and they replicate it for other champions just to see how it will look like (FIT ON) for the other champions

Now seriously, if you both can't even get an agreement and you both are defending the artwork above that just makes me think: Am I supposed to defend my point of view against two views that are both contradictory? And if that's what concept is about, I repeat again: There's nothing creative about it, I am genuinely looking at Death Sworn kat up there, nothing more.

Honestly, Diana herself looks more like Zyra. Her face doesn't really belong to Diana and the cleavage and the weird Rock-type hair would fit Zyra way more. I'm not a huge fan of this armor and colour as i usually prefer darker tones for Diana but meh.

I just posted this to show to everyone who sees my post on the boards how deathsawrn Diana COULD POSSIBLY LOOK LIKE

No one can make the skins look like Riot does CUZ they get paid and freelance artists DON'T

So putting the hours Riot does Into a skin to make them as Detailed as possible like Riot does for a freelance artist is a waste of time in my opinion ( if i had the skills to make Riot like skins i would've want to get paid for my hours i put into a project if am gonna make it look awesome )

You didn't understand when i said that it should at least look like she has Diana's figure and face. If you whip up something to save time then you're not putting much passion in it. Artistic work takes time and patience. I wrote stories and i procrastinated a lot just to get everything right. It's not much different with drawing.

I implore you to go look at Sivir's skin splashes, and tell me sivir has a specific "face."

In fact, go look at most champion splash art, compare the faces in their respective skin art, and try and tell me they have any kind of specific continuity.

Well considering majoirty of Siv's splashes are quite old or from the chinese servers, so due too semantics none are going to look the same.

A better example would be Ashe. Across all of her splashes she has a very unified face. Moreso then a lot of other champs. She consistently has an Oval face with a pointed nose.

Another good example is Elise. Who is consistently drawn with an upturned nose and pointed eyes.

Whilst some champions have lesser continuity in their splash arts, others tend to.

Diana for example has a VERY angular face across all of her splashes, with very pronounced cheekbones.
