Question for RIOT ( Hopefully they answer )

i know i preached this topic for the longest time on the boards but i never got a clear OFFICIAL answer from Riot on whats happening with my most beloved Champion Diana And her Rival Leona

So Riot now that you have created Dawnbringer Riven And Nightbringer Yasuo two legendary skins at the same time with a big event and all their bells and whistles ( limited time icons and ward skins etc etc )

Can we PLEASE FINALLY get two legendary skins for Diana and Leona this time and also add voiceovers for Diana and Leona like Nasus and Renekton have or like Yasuo and Riven

So at Last my Question

When are we gonna see a Diana Legendary skin and why are you neglecting the Champion so much on the skin and story line part when champs like YI and trynda get 2-3 skins every 8-10 months

Hopefully you see this Riot and answer my Question at Last

Diana "just" got Blood moon so i wouldn't say she's being neglected.

I personally want to see a more offensive looking leona, like berserker leo or something, i've always been more of a fan of her bruiser builds.

I also think riot should try to make that build a bit more viable, you can barely ever fight diana expecting to kill her.

Have u ever played leona with flat attack damage runes? Yes, she's scary I lost against her top lane and I was playing as Fiora not even funny.

but they can change the play-style and how they operate in every much take me for example i main Diana win lane every-time but if i take Zed i lose lane

And now take LL Stylish top Zed player his 90% quarantine to win lane but if he plays Diana not so much

in both cases no one changed any abilities its just the way you operate with certain champions that defys victory or defeat

Just play her adc. Not even kidding. Her passive is great in 2v2s but that doesn't mean she has to be the support.

That's why you build Titanic. And i've 1v1d a jax before. It's not impossible but i'll admit an invade at the wrong time can destroy your game.

she just needs ad scalings with adjusted base dmg for it so they don't overbuff support. or be allowed to proc her own passive consistently.

Well am just gonna put my 2 cents here as i never played Leona before SO Yeah i think making her a bit more aggressive for a different play-style other then Support tank would be interesting to watch

BUT

I also think that RIOT should give to Diana an escape as well OR buff her a 5% and make everything do AOE dmg not just her W Because when you go in with Diana is like Do or Die and you have no escape when almost every other Champion Has

I have played Leona a lot, support, and top lane, it can work, but only against other tanks, or against squishy champs with no regen.

Also, you can use jungle camps as escapes, just don't double tap R if you want to be able to escape.

That's... kinda the point. She's a Diver now, isn't she? You pretty much just described the design philosophy of that class. All in, but you'd better keep killing, 'cause you have no way out.

Lunar Goddess Diana was made as a Lunar Revel skin. There's no New Years holiday that's as big as that, though, so don't hold your breath.

Well going to be kind of blunt but here we go

Stupid simple answer for Stupid simple question

Because riot makes Skins for champions who are played Often.

Basically If riot sees people playing a Said champion a crap ton. they make a skin for that champion knowing people will spend money for that skin for their overly picked and played champion

Right now Leona and Diana are not played often enough to warrant any new skins along with many other champions who do not get many skins.

Xayah Rakan Cosmic dusk and cosmic dawn would be cool, I mean I know we have lover skins for those two Xayah and Rakan folks but a rivalry skin with the same theme could work too Leona Diana

Doesnt really sound all that special, just a cooler version of each of them. Id refer the inverse, Nightbringer Leona and Dawnbringer Diana . The role swap would be totally cool

Hmmm............ am not gonna say cool id say interesting cuz going based the lore here it makes no sense for Diana to have a Dawn-bringer Skin and also for Leona to have a night-bringer when they represent to different aspects

Thats exactly the point. There is absolutely no reason skins should follow any lore whatever so. They are skins and are meant to portray different possible identities about the champion. Like Star Guardian Syndra, just becauses shes an antagonist in lore doesnt mean she cant get a protagonist skin.

This rivalry never made sense from a gameplay standpoint since Diana is a solo lane/jungler and Leona is a support. It's not much of a Rivalry if one side never stands a chance to win.

said before and will be said again, Yi is popular, more so then Leo and Dia. Thus, he will and always will get more skins. Same with Trynd.

Look, I am a Leona fan and have done rather well with her from time to time (she is one f my go to supports if my team needs a tank) but sadly she just isn't that high up. Plus if they wanted to pull another Rival Skin Event they are going to want enough time to make sure he skins look great and that said event can go without a hitch. Plus if they wanted to get a new set of lines they'd have to call in the voice actresses, get them the lines, get the recordings of the lines, and pay said voice actresses for their work. Might all sound easy and a no brainer to fans of the characters like us, but at the end of the day Riot is a business and 203 skins a year for popular champions will always be a more guaranteed profit then a high profile skin and a not so popular champ.

But I do agree that they should have legendary skins. Not only that but we should have a different event for both of them just like Riven and Yasuo had. Or if not that then maybe a small in game mission similar to the Freljord sisters like the one you have between Lissandra and Ashe or Sejuani.

As a Diana main, I'd LOVE to see a Dawnbringer Diana skin to contrast her other skins (most of which are dark), and a Nightbringer Leona skin would also look great for the same reason.

I just want my main Leona to get a legendary skin ... or something on par with what Blitz is getting (doesn't have to be mecha themed, just with that much care put into it)

Both Leona Diana need skins to reflect one another in some way. It would be so cool ... but i'm pretty certain Riot's going to be making more skins for Annie Ahri MasterYi MasterYi MasterYi :^)
