Question for RIOT ( Hopefully they answer )

i know i preached this topic for the longest time on the boards but i never got a clear OFFICIAL answer from Riot on whats happening with my most beloved Champion Diana And her Rival Leona

So Riot now that you have created Dawnbringer Riven And Nightbringer Yasuo two legendary skins at the same time with a big event and all their bells and whistles ( limited time icons and ward skins etc etc )

Can we PLEASE FINALLY get two legendary skins for Diana and Leona this time and also add voiceovers for Diana and Leona like Nasus and Renekton have or like Yasuo and Riven

So at Last my Question

When are we gonna see a Diana Legendary skin and why are you neglecting the Champion so much on the skin and story line part when champs like YI and trynda get 2-3 skins every 8-10 months

Diana "just" got Blood moon so i wouldn't say she's being neglected.

I personally want to see a more offensive looking leona, like berserker leo or something, i've always been more of a fan of her bruiser builds.

I also think riot should try to make that build a bit more viable, you can barely ever fight diana expecting to kill her.

i do not understand why A) we dont have solar goddess leona or B) why we dont have a lunar/solar eclipse set for the two of them

Well going to be kind of blunt but here we go

Stupid simple answer for Stupid simple question

Because riot makes Skins for champions who are played Often.

Basically If riot sees people playing a Said champion a crap ton. they make a skin for that champion knowing people will spend money for that skin for their overly picked and played champion

Right now Leona and Diana are not played often enough to warrant any new skins along with many other champions who do not get many skins.

Xayah Rakan Cosmic dusk and cosmic dawn would be cool, I mean I know we have lover skins for those two Xayah and Rakan folks but a rivalry skin with the same theme could work too Leona Diana

said before and will be said again, Yi is popular, more so then Leo and Dia. Thus, he will and always will get more skins. Same with Trynd.

Look, I am a Leona fan and have done rather well with her from time to time (she is one f my go to supports if my team needs a tank) but sadly she just isn't that high up. Plus if they wanted to pull another Rival Skin Event they are going to want enough time to make sure he skins look great and that said event can go without a hitch. Plus if they wanted to get a new set of lines they'd have to call in the voice actresses, get them the lines, get the recordings of the lines, and pay said voice actresses for their work. Might all sound easy and a no brainer to fans of the characters like us, but at the end of the day Riot is a business and 203 skins a year for popular champions will always be a more guaranteed profit then a high profile skin and a not so popular champ.

But I do agree that they should have legendary skins. Not only that but we should have a different event for both of them just like Riven and Yasuo had. Or if not that then maybe a small in game mission similar to the Freljord sisters like the one you have between Lissandra and Ashe or Sejuani.

I just want my main Leona to get a legendary skin ... or something on par with what Blitz is getting (doesn't have to be mecha themed, just with that much care put into it)

Both Leona Diana need skins to reflect one another in some way. It would be so cool ... but i'm pretty certain Riot's going to be making more skins for Annie Ahri MasterYi :^)

As a Diana main, I'd LOVE to see a Dawnbringer Diana skin to contrast her other skins (most of which are dark), and a Nightbringer Leona skin would also look great for the same reason.

This rivalry never made sense from a gameplay standpoint since Diana is a solo lane/jungler and Leona is a support. It's not much of a Rivalry if one side never stands a chance to win.
