[Champion Concept] Weylon, the Resonating Swordsman
Despite what most people seem to be thinking, the champion itself is not a sword. This is only the weapon that he will use. He cannot throw himself... And he cannot leap to himself...
A Flambard, Flamberge, or Flame Bladed Sword, is something that is missing in League's list of awesome weapons.
Flambards were in part decorative, but did have their advantages.
- The undulating edges caused wider thrusting wounds, and keeps the weapon relatively light.
- An enemy striking the blade would cause some unhappy vibrations into his weapon.
- The weapon would be more efficient at breaking halberds at mid-combat due to it being able to cut harder materials easier with a slash.
With these properties I got the idea for this build.
Proposed Build:
Passive: Humming Blade Weylon's sword hums a steady vibration, causing auto attacks and spells to deal extra damage after several seconds. This effect's damage will stack and detonate at intervals after the first auto/spell. Q Passive: Oscillation Weylon's auto attacks disrupt the air around the target, slightly damaging and causing an AoE slow around the target briefly. If another enemy unit comes in contact with this slow, the debuff transfers to them. This effect can only happen once every 10/15 seconds. This effect cannot happen when Weylon does not have his sword. Q Active: Reverberate Weylon channels for a short time. If an enemy auto attacks him while channeling, damage will be reduced slightly, ends the channel, and the enemy's attack speed will be reduced for a short time. Weylon cannot use this ability if he does not have his sword, and cannot auto attack while channeling. After use Oscillation passive will be put on cooldown. W: Resonance Weylon focuses, gaining armor penetration and avoids unit collision for several seconds. 20 sec cooldown E: Flying Banshee Weylon tosses his blade in a skillshot, causing damage, increases movement speed towards that unit, and gives sight of that enemy. Until you get to the enemy struck to retrieve your blade, your auto attacks deal reduced damage. If the enemy gets out of range, the blade will return. R: Ripple Effect Weylon leaps to the enemy affected by his e, and then thrusts the blade deep into them, damaging and applying several passive stacks. If the enemy is killed by this ability or the next passive proc, the cooldown on the e will be reset and the ultimate will be reduced to 5 seconds of cooldown.
This champion will run off of mana.
