Pet Based Champ Idea

Note: I'm very new to League. I've never even played ranked so if this champs is overtuned/too weak then that's why. Also this is a bit of a repost after i modified a couple abilities and redid his backstory so it wasn't a pain to read and put it between lines so you can skip it.

Simon and Laplace Champ Name: Duo “The Bound Tide”

Backstory: Simon was a sailor from Bilgewater who was bound to the Voidspawn/Darkin Laplace in an accident at sea. The two are now linked and the death of one means an end to both. This is especially depressing news to the nigh unkillable Laplace who often must protect the airheaded sailor from himself. Optimistic and lighthearted, Simon views his new companion as an opportunity for friendship and often boasts how good friends he is with the vicious monster.

Role: AP Jungler

Kit: AA: A low damage ranged shot of water.

Passive: AAs deal bonus magic damage after an ability deals damage to an enemy champ. This includes any damage from Laplace.

Q: Simon shoots a bubble from his finger in a line. The bubble travels a short distance before popping. Enemy champions hit by the bubble are moderately slowed for a short time and are dealt a small amount of damage. Anything else hit will be dealt damage in a small area.

W: Water Skating A toggle-able MS boost. MS is increased in the river.

E: Jetstream Simon propels himself a short distance. If he hits an enemy, he will damage them, stuning them for a short time, and bounce back in the direction he came from.

R: Laplace Laplace acts independently from Simon. He has his own health however and can be disabled for a short time if he is killed. If Laplace is disabled, Simon is silenced until he recovers. Laplace rapidly recovers health below a certain threshold if not in combat and has increased regeneration out of combat. He also has innate scaling MR and armor. His attacks deal damage based on Simon’s AP. Laplace can attack a target, go to a location a short distance away from Simon, or quickly travel back to Simon. If directed to attack a target suffering from CC, Laplace will dash to the target, dealing damage in a cone in front of him, as well as slowing anyone hit. This effect is on a short cooldown.

Notes: I’m considering a few things to balance the champ. Possibly remove W MS in the river. Maybe limit MS from items. Visually Simon is inspired by JoJoLion from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Laplace should either be calm and sleek similar to Zac (Minus the smile, think an emotionless Zac)to highlight his relationship with water, or brutal to contrast Simon. Also the reason the backstory is so short is because, while i wanted to type out what his story is, i'm not a writer and I couldn't make it a good read. Basically Laplace was fighting a water god/spirit/elemental at sea and rather than fight fair, the elemental bound Laplace to Simon since he knew he couldn't beat him. Simon was wearing a good luck charm he had bought and the reason that Laplace is bound to Simon is no more than "Bad luck" for when he broke the necklace. I thought it was cool to have a villain who failed epicly not because he was bad, but because he was unlucky. The idea for the champ as a whole cam from a couple places:

Most notably Shayne and Aurox (Battleborn).

Shadow Labrys from P5U

JoJolion

Megaman Starforce Series (Laplace)
