Miss Fortune Ultimate Idea

So here's my idea for Miss Fortune's Ult. In the current meta and state of the game Miss Fortune is a sub par pick in pretty much every phase/elo/level of the game. Mobility creep has taken over the game, and the existence of so many Assassin type characters makes an Immobile ADC like Miss Fortune extremely vulnerable, and pretty much a bad pick in almost any match. Not to mention the fact she will never see competitive play EVER in her current state.

Alot of this is tied into her Ultimate. Its a 2 second Channel that fires a Cone of Bullets in the direction she's facing.

Think about that, 2 solid seconds of standing still channeling an ability that leaves her wide open for any attack, skill shot, gap closer, etc, etc. leaving her a sitting duck.

My idea goes something like this, Change her ult in the following ways,

Her ult now summons a Ships Cannon that fires her cone ult in the direction she was facing at the time of cast. This would leave Miss Fortune free to move around and continue attacking, which would greatly bolster her ability to survive engagements and contribute to team fights.

Considering the state of mobility in the game, and Miss Fortune's lack of any type of escape, I think this change could bring her back up to a competitive level.

So are you suggesting that she drop a cannon, kinda like how heim does, but it shoots the bullet cone like her current ultimate?

You are right about her mobility being the main problem. I am a MF main, btw. I think if they gave her a built in flash or dash she would prolly see more play. Im not Diamond +, so I dont usually have too many problems carrying with her. I just need a support who isnt worthless (meaning the player not a champion).

I love her ult as is though. I try to to use it in the jungle when several champs are fighting others on my team. Her ult works great when their is an AOE cc (ie Sona Ult, Leona ult, Amumu ult). Or even just use it like Riven's ult: you know you cant quite catch a low-health champ cuz they flash and it will finish them off.

You are right on both counts. I am suggesting turning her ult into a Turret/Cannon like Heimer's, And the fact that her ult is great for catching champs in narrow channels, Jungle/baron/Dragon. I just think this change would free up alot of her vulnerability while ulting, making her more of a threat in team fights.
