Cruora is a midlaner-jungler flex champion, with high amounts of sustain, and AOE damage. She however lacks the ability to escape quickly, or capability to take real damage, like her tankier cohorts. While it is possible to build Cruora as a tank, you are often sacrificing high damage output for the tanky aspects, making you less able to effectively slaughter your foes.

Lore (see longer lore down below) Summary: An immortal sorceress from a long gone age, Cruora uses her dark, malevolent magic to guide Noxus along the destined path, as per the design of her and her Blood God. The cruel queen manipulates Noxus to her advantage, as she has ever since it’s founding. While most see her as a benevolent priestess, the truth is far more sinister and malignant. While very few know of her true origin or plans, they are powerless to stop her.

Item Build:
For mid-lane
Starter:
Then build
Morellinomicon gives the much needed mana you'll need, and Rylai's gives some good ability power. Luden's Echo is good, because she needs that ability power to deal damage, same for Rabadon's Deathcap. Void Staff is a nice last.
For jungle
Starter:
Then build
You still are prioritizing the AP you'll need, as it is Cruora's main damage revenue, Liandry's Torment's passive helps her tremendously, and the additional magic pen from Liandry and Sorcerer is a total of 30 magic pen. The Chilling Smite's slow, if you fail to execute, can help you set up a nice AOE combo to butcher your foes.
Lore: (longer)
Drip. Drip. Drip.
Water trailed down the pipes, as a shadowy figure darted, weaving through the alley with a level of skill and finesse unseen by Noxus before. “Find Brother Ase’ture, kill him. Simple.” A soft voice drawled. Stepping into the light, the abomination known as Cruora grinned.
She was tall, with long, nimble legs. Her unholy white skin gleamed, her breasts held by a corset, which led to an elegant dress, made of red and black fabrics, weaved together flawlessly with what, looked like, bones and solidified blood. Two leathery wings flickered from behind her, as she rolled her head, popping the stiff muscles. She flapped her leathery wings once, and twice, floating a little, her feet scraping against the ground. Her sharp jaw line gave way to a button nose, and blackened eyes, and thick, voluminous black hair. Her blood red nails glinted in the light, matching the unnatural glint on the street.
Blood.
She grinned, revealing wicked fangs, as she charged through the Noxian alleys and streets, a phantom in the night. The scent of blood pulsed in her nose, the intoxicating aroma causing her eyes to darken in desire. The Bounty Hunters were doing their job, it seemed. Indicated by the frosty temperatures in the region. “Arguably one of my favorites.” Cruora murmured. She flapped her wings, ascending to the sky, as she darted through said sky with precise agility. Damian Ase’ture had hired the Black Knight as his defender, which made her curious. ‘How would the Black Knight fare against his own lover being sent to kill the Black Knight’s charge?’ Cruora smiled, she did enjoy the drama of young love. She, however, would be the one to reach Damian first. Not the assassins. In front of the dark metal door, she snorted. Using arcane magic, she appeared inside the noxian manor.
“Cruora, how lovely of you to meet me.” Damian Ase’ture muttered, sitting in front of a fire, in a plush chair. His black hair loosely framed his brown eyes. His haggard, wiry and lithe frame was covered by baggy clothes. So different from the man Cruora had initially met. “Care for a drink, Sister Cruora?” She nodded, sitting in a chair next to the noxian general. The fire crackled, warming the two.
“Red Wine?” Damian asked, already pouring two glasses of the red liquid.
“You know me so well.” Cruora responded, her wings flickering. Damian passed one of the glasses to Cruora, as she smiled. The two sat in silence, sipping their drinks every now and then.
“You.. You are here to kill me, aren’t you?” Damian finally asked, breaking the tense silence.
“Oh, Damian.. Damian, darling. You were always the clever one. Sure, Marcus may have been strong, and quite intelligent, but you were smarter. Oh, so much smarter than him.” She praised lightly, taking a delicate sip of the wine. “Surely, you know what happens to those who betray the Cathedral of Blood? The Blood God does not take kindly to blood traitors.”
“I was going to die either way.” Damian snapped.
“It wasn’t as if we were to feed you to a giant spider, or anything. Don’t be ridiculous! You weren’t going to die. You were to ascend!”
“Like you?”
"Yes, like I had. Do you know why I kneel before him? Because he was different." Cruora looked to the flames, her gaze melting from one of predatory lust to soft, warm love. "He wasn't like the spider or the serpent." Her voice grew sharp, as she scrunched her nose in distaste. Quickly, her gaze melted like chocolate once again. "He cared for us. He loved us!" She turned to Damien, her gaze piercing him. "He loved me and I loved him."
“You?” He asked, disbelief oozing from his tone, not that she paid it any heed.
“Indeed. I was the most devout, his most faithful follower! In reward for my life-time of servitude, a lifetime of no friends, no family, just him, he blessed me. Immortality. I was blessed with eternal youth, to spread the gospel of His doctrine. I ascended, Damian!” She cried. “I ascended..” She murmured. She stood up, walking close to the window, peering out. He grinned when she wasn’t looking.
“So, what, you want to include me in your special immortality club?” Damian Ase’ture hissed.
“Yes.” She turned around, staring at him. Her eyes twinkled in mirth, a smug smirk settled on her lips. She cocked her hip to the side, placing a hand on it.
“Get out.” He snarled. The air grew warmer.
“Oh?” She asked, not taking him very serious.
“Get. Out. Now.” He slammed his hand down on a tablet. On it was several intricate glyphs, which began to glow. Her eyes widened, and her eyes flickered, confusion blossoming. It took all but several moments before realization set in, and a cold and frosty look formed in her eyes. She pursed her lips. Several runes glowed around the room, and indeed, the entire house. Chains of ethereal energy rose from the floor, grabbing onto her wrists and ankles. The chains coalesced around her neck too, choking her. She grimaced slightly from the pain, but did little else.
The energy began to pulsate, creating a steady rhythm of agony. THRUM. THRUM. THRUM. DA THRUM. THRUM. THRUM. THRUM. DA THRUM. Her vision began to blur, as a headache quickly formed inside her mind. It felt as if each of her nerves were being doused in gasoline, only to be lit aflame, one at a time. Repeatedly! It felt as if her skin was being shredded off. She mustered all of her willpower, dissipating the energy just enough to give her some slack. A brief escape, a window of time!
“Do not say you did not have a chance, General Ase’ture. Remember, not even the Blood God, in all of his infinite mercy, can forgive such blasphemy. It is paramount to the Darkin.” She sneered, disappearing, finally dropping her facade of superiority to growl at him.
Damian took another sip of his wine.
“She may have taken your bluff, but I have not.” A new voice groaned.
“Business, as usual?” He asked.
“But of course, darling. I gave you those glyphs for a purpose, after all.”
“Very well. Let’s get to it, my Queen.”
A bat squeaked, and flew off into the night.
