Like we have dynasty warrior J4 or Xin (not sure which it is but same thing), so why can't we just make fun things like Moltres and Zapados Anivia? Taylor Swift Lux? Bowser or Sonic Rammus? Goku Ezreal? Slender thing Fiddlesticks?
So many ideas, and a lot are on that custom skin site already (but that causes crashes and other players can't even see your skin). I say forget about copy right issues and make cool skins.

The warring kingdom skins aren't necessarily referencing Dynasty Warriors, really they're just referencing the culture if anything. As for the browser skins those are just skins that 'happen' to share the names of web browsers. They're literal interpretations of the names of the browsers, not interpretations of the browsers themselves.

There are probably some others I don't know about, but the point is Riot has done this type of thing in the past. I don't think ignoring copyright is the right answer though.
