Concept: Reactive Helm (anti-AD Adaptive Helm with some lemon zest)

So, the unique passive of item 3194 says:

Taking magic damage from a spell or effect reduces all subsequent magic damage from the same spell or effect by 20% for 4 seconds.

What if we had the opposite? Here's my idea for the unique passive.

Reduces physical damage taken from spells, effects, or basic attacks by 20%. This can only occur once every 4 seconds, resetting upon taking damage from the same spell, effect, or basic attack again.

not sure about the other stats

What do you guys think? I think this could be a good item to counteract the burst in the game.

That's literally what item 3143 is for but worst item 3194 niche is to counter dot spell and there's no AD dot spells out of maybe Darius passive but even so the focus is on making his ult hurt and get free ad not to actually do damage.

I like the creativity behind it but...

seems a bit op on some bruisers. it basically reduces all incoming physical damage by a flat 10%

plus the opposite effect thing would be Stubborn rather than reactive...

Adaptive reduces magic damage from a set spell/effect. for a truly opposite effect (that is still a buff) I feel it would do nothing against the triggering damage, but effects damage from all other sources.

something like

Taking physical damage from a spell or effect reduces all subsequent physical damage from other spells or attacks by the champion by 20% for 4 seconds. Can only be triggered for one ability at a time
