I prefer using summoner 1 or summoner 12 but summoner 4 works too.

Did you know, when you are using summoner 4 , you disappear for a brief moment? If you time it correctly, you can dodge even Karthus' ult

Never use item 3157 it doubles the damage and makes it deal true damage. I learned that the hard way.
