Champion Themes/Skillsets We Would Like To See

So as the title says, can you guys think of any new/underused themes or abilities in game?

Personally I would like to see more use of the trap mechanic, the only real use of trap style skills is teemo, caitlyn and nidalee right now off the top of my head. It would be nice to see a support based champion that could plant a trap that really makes you panic when its stepped on instead of just '....@^%& Teemo!'

In my last MOBA there was a champion that could take time to build up a trap in one spot and when someone stepped on it, it became an 'oh crap I have to run' moment.

Another idea would fit in with Riots current meta of mobile champions, one skill revolving around being able to switch places with a targeted enemy within a certain range.

We don't have an older witch. who looks human. I would start with that. The next thing we don't have are creeping spells. This can be shown in 2 ways:

First, let's say this hag places her cauldron in some remote location. For every 10 CS she gets, a new ingredient is added to the melting pot, whoever touches (allies) or destroys (enemy) this souped up cauldron will receive the bonuses, permanently.

A cauldron is placed in a location. It takes 10 hits to destroy, it cannot be attacked by the same enemy more than once every 4 seconds. For every 20 seconds it survives, an increasingly larger Area of the map creates debuffs to champions that walk in. The debuff I had in mind was to half the champion's highest stat.

The benefits of the first --> Creates a minigame objective. If you keep letting the witch brew for her team, you will lose faster. If you keep taking it, she's actually powering you up. It also encourages laning phase to be rushed a bit so that you have the chance to destroy it. Limitations would be not being able to place it in bases or within proximity of turrets.

The benefits of the second --> It debuffs anyone, so it creates a zone of safety and danger depending on the situation which may hinder or help your team. Also the increasing growth forces teams to be drawn to it lest they want to fight the whole game with debuffs. It also encourages hybrid playstyles so damage stays relevant.

The negatives to each is that it requires some bit of time, and Riot prefers shorter games. But if it is an ultimate ability and has a clear map indicator of existing, the bonuses could be achieved in shorter intervals.

We don't a champion that Shrinks. The reverse of Cho'Gath.

Whereas he gets bigger with feasts, easier to target. creates a wall...the shrinker will get smaller making him harder to hit, lower health but higher base damage, and only really targetable by precisely clicking on his small figurine or using AoE spells.

I've been dying to see a champion with an altered dimension theme focused on altering placement of champions and abilities. oh man, i have so many ideas... A champion based on mirrors (reflecting skillshots or even something like a windwall that reflects auto attacks too and makes them bounce in another direction)

A yordle that is part of viktor's Glorious evolution.

A corpse-consumer/collector (yes, we have thresh who collects souls so gameplay-wise this is similar, but it could have a very different theme)

Two champions in one. One of them could be able to use Q and the other E then both can use W and R can combine them into one stronger unit for a certain amount of time. So many things you could do with this, thats just a quick idea.

A person who didn't only see the void like malzahar and kassadin, but was inside it and possibly trapped in it.

A champion with a scythe. Seems simple, but once again theres so many things that can be done with this. Already made a concept for this.

An aura controlling mage. Possibly gets its resource from nearby units? Working on this concept actually

A champion that provides more insight into the lore of Soraka/ Morgana and Kayle.

We finally got a Legion champion (kalista) so maybe a swarm champion. A champion that is a swarm of void insects or possibly the last surviving members of an intelligent insect species. Idk seems weird but im just typing whatever comes to mind. The swarm of void insects could fit very well into the theme of league, especially if they were all controlled by one queen or king insect.

Based on a character from a book i read: a short, sadistic, mastermind with a weapon that can cut through dimensions. Sounds odd, but it made sense in the book somehow...

I could keep going but i have to go. I might update this post later if i can find it.
