All these complaints about Zed, yet none about Master Rollfaceonkeyboard?

I know its kind of pointless putting anything here since rito regularly does whatever they want in the justification of balance but I kind of need to vent a bit here....

I surely can't be the only one thats getting annoyed with Yi? As far as it goes he stands near the top of the list for broken champions right now. All he needs is farm and from there he just rolls his face on the keyboard and oh look, a penta. He has a complete lack of counter play since he can outpace anyone just about, and literally just presses E,R,Q and everyone dies. I just made the mistake of going into a teambuilder session, which I have renamed 'broken champions expo' since thats all it is, needless to say we had a Yi on each side and it became a game of who can roll there face across the keys the fastest wins.

Several times I watched Lulu, Rek'sai and our own Yi jump him solo, for him to triple since he hit his combo faster. Two minutes later, same thing happens with our Yi. Yes there was a Zed in the game too but there were no issues with him, he can only focus one person at once after all. Yi has a multi target Q on a low cooldown, with insane damage which is also powered up by his other abilities... and to add insult to injury oh lets give him a heal just in case you do manage a hit before he mashes his palm into his keyboard.

Rant Over

Now that is out of the way, I understand he is an assassin... but following the hate on the 100-0 champions rito have had lately why has Yi avoided any changes?

If Ahri can be considered OP for having a 20% boost on her E, how is two powerup skills and a single button mash not considered OP? His Passive gives two hits which can also crit on each, he gets bonus attack speed PLUS true Damage PLUS insane movement speed on a fairly low cooldown.

The biggest issue is when he hits Q there is literally nothing you can do since he is completely untargetable until he appears again and by that time you can react to where he appears, hes already hit you another twice. Its virtual whack-a-mole.

TL:DR Yi is master in name only, any old noob can roll his face on 3 keys and come away with a ridiculous kill ratio.

Don't go to fight yi when you have 100 hp left.

Problem solved.

You are going to get flamed by LCS fanboys who think the same Tier list applies for each, but Yi is a really strong, really easy, solo Q pick; especially in the tiers where the vast majority of players play; silver/bronze.

Playing Yi smart can probably carry you pretty far. Just afk farm, maybe go to a lane for a 100% kill, and split push and you will probably win a large chunk of games on him. Hes just boring as hell to play. At some point, you have to put fun above winning.

Yi is a "pub-stomp" champion. IF winning is all you care about, I would focus on these pub stomp champs for each role; they exist. Some people spam them, but a lot of players just spam LCS champs just like people would copy their favorite hitter's swing style, etc. Which is fine. This is a game afterall. I personally can't spam a champ I dont find fun just to gain some ELO that doesnt make much difference on the quality of games. The same stuff that ruins your games in bronze ruins them in silver and gold, and higher. Trolls, troll picks, ragers, flamers, afkers, etc. The people's skill just improves, but the quality of games doesnt.

I see downvotes with no legit comments back. As expected tbh, there is rarely any actual discussion here anyway now.

For all you people browsing and downvoting on principle, explain please what exactly is the correct method of blocking a completely automated targeting attack (that makes him invincible whilst animating I may add) that hits multiple people on a short cooldown and is also empowered by his other abilities?

The only logical way is CC, which also relies on you hitting it first before he does which is again, button mash race.
