Akali tweaks that could fix her once and for good (concept no numbers)
One thing Riot doesn't seem to understand while working on the Akali issue is simply that Akali as too many tools to stick to enemy, every spell is mobility and anti mobility. The changes they released ( taking away true stealth, and getting rid of sustain on Q ) aren't the way to fix her.
List of changes to her ability to fix this version of Akali, context to why this should be done further down
Q : Get rid of the slow, give back the healing W : Give back true stealth but reduce the duration of shroud ( Azir soldier treatments ) If Akali needs a slow it should be on this ability (and i'm nore sure she needs one since gunblade ) E: E2 now micro stun R : Making it a targeted ability again that has a One stack that reset on Kill and Assist - no more micro stun
Context :
Q: Slow on Q is one of the too many tools she has, not every single ability should be a tool to stick to your target. Plus a good akali will make you feel perma slow, doesn't fit her thematic ( She's not lissandra the ice queen, nor Ashe). The sustain on the other hand was always part of her theme, so you should bring back some sustain in her kit
W: I don't know about this one, but it feel like getting rid of true stealth was a bit rushed, no shorter duration under turret has been tested. I think it should at leats be considered and play tested, a version where Turret make shroud duration really low when cast near them ( just like Azir soldier ) and while your at hit , this could be done with Yasuo wind wall and graves smokes screen too
E: E can feel a bit lack luster sometimes in a sense that you dont miss out much from throwing E to a minion just to gap close. Getting rid of Akali slow will sure gives more breathing room for enemy but may put Akali in a situation where she lack sticking potential, Giving micro stun to E can solve this problem
R: At first when i watch prof Akali play the rework version, most of the time R2 wasn't even use to deal damage, simply to reposiition after a kill. Having E to escape, and R to dash untargetted, can be a bit too much in term of juking potential. Considering she also has shroud. Making R a targeted ability again could help solve this problem. Having another Stack after a kill was a huge part of why I enjoy Akali, the reward is great and enable to continue a fight. to get to other target. Its a better risk reward with a one stack system then the old 3stack system. The reward is better (1/1 is greater then 1/3) and the risk is greater 0/1 is worst then 2/3 )
