This is a long time comming but what happened to the Ahri statue?

Two ago they where going to release an Ahri statue, however due to negative player feedback it was canceled with hope of being revised and released. But two years later their hasn't been any news regarding it, and just recently an Ekko statue was release, so is there any hope at this point? Was it forgotten, put on the back burner, or is it still in the design phase?
