Champion Concept: Jonah, the Dread Balladeer

Let me preamble by saying this is my first stab at this, and my knowledge of exact values is a bit shaky; the numbers are just a rough estimate overall.

Going for theme here - we have a couple of metal heads, and a we have Sona - but how about an outlaw country-style champion?

The primary influence for Jonah will be pretty blatant, but I've also tried to infuse a bit of Desperado in there, and paid mind to some of the elements of other Shadow Isles champions

JONAH, THE DREAD BALLADEER TANK/SUPPORT SHADOW ISLES

Range: 500 Attack Speed: Moderate Damage: Moderate-High Movement: Low HP: High Mana: Moderate-High Mana Regen: Fast Armor: High MR: Moderate

PASSIVE: Shadow's Left Hand When an allied Champion near Jonah is killed, Jonah gains a stack of Reckoning, gaining +50% attack damage and +25% attack Speed for 10 seconds. This effect can stack up to four times each stack refreshing the time remaining on the last.

(The meat of Jonah's tanking approach; if you make the mistake of focusing his team before dropping him, those Reckoning stacks will quickly become a very serious problem)

Q: Dead Man's Gun (Skillshot): Deals 5/10/15/30/60 (+100% AD) Physical damage, delivers on-hit effects and can score criticals; deals double damage to targets hit in the back. If the target is killed, refresh the cooldown on The Man Comes Around. COST: Moderate -COOLDOWN: Fast- RANGE: Long

(Your basic poke. Works a lot like GP's Paaarley, but also plays into the role of an "anti-mobility tank", synergizing with his next ability)

W: Man in Black/The Man Comes Around (Passive/Active Targeted): (Passive) Jonah Gains 10/20/30/40/50 Armor and Magic Resistance for each stack of Reckoning. When an enemy champion damages Jonah, they incur a Mark of Damnation (Active) Jonah Dashes adjacent to a target with a Mark of Damnation, Stunning them for .5/1/1.5/2/2.5 (+10% AP) seconds COST: High - COOLDOWN: Long RANGE: Extreme

(This is our key to "Anti-mobility", and passively makes ignoring Jonah even more dangerous. ALso my answer to "anti-mobility" - the ability is meant to be a counter to high-mobility attackers - and see the ability below for the mess this can cause in team-fights for Sir Kites-a-lot - if you hit Jonah, he is coming for you - but he can't aggressively bully with it otherwise)

E: Phantom Prison Blues (Maintained Aura): Jonah begins to play a soul-crushing ballad, slowing the movement speed of nearby enemies in a zone around him by 8%/16%/24%/32%/40% (+20% AP) and their attack speed by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% (+20% AP) while in the area of effect. [While playing, a spectral gunman attacks and uses Deadman's Gun for Jonah] COST: Low (Sustained) - COOLDOWN: Fast

(Further kite-punishing; you jump in, smack him, then dive back into your team? Yeah, enjoy)

ULTIMATE: Ring of Fire Jonah opens the guitar case on his back and unleashes the fury of the souls within it. After channeling 1.5 seconds a zone of wrathful spirits empowers all nearby allies, boosting their Mana regeneration by 50%/100%/150%, lowering their cooldowns by 10%/20%/30% (+10% AP), and increasing allied attack speed by +30%/60%/90% (+10% AP). This effect lasts for five seconds.

(Mana costs and duration debatable. This is the ultimate twist of the nail; suddenly there is no good option - take out the empowered DPSers and boost Jonah to absurd levels of Reckoning, or take out Jonah while weathering the storm as best you can)

Strengths: Durable, good single-target DPS, ability to wreak havoc on a teamfight and forces enemy teams to make difficult decisions. Punishes excess mobility Weaknesses: No AoE and no innate sustain; not particularly fast, mobility highly situational; requires skill not to make the classic 'dive into enemy team and die' mistake.

_No one really knows the origins of Jonah - some say he was a Bilgewater sailor, some a wandering minstrel; even fewer hazard to guess at the origins of the Murder Box, the bloodstained guitar case he wears on his back that contains both his instrument and the souls of the unjustly slain. He wanders the Shadow Isles and down lonely roads beyond, coming to the aid of the damned and doomed to give them a chance at victory - or at least the false hope of the same, before harvesting their spirits into the Box for some unknown purpose... _

APPEARANCE: A tall, broad-shouldered man, gaunt and undead, with a stubbly jaw, long hair receding back from his forehead, and dressed in the sort of old-west Undertaker suit under a tattered duster; his eyes glow luminously and he carries a black guitar case, chained to his back with rusty chains. He attacks with a glowing revolver.
