Sirvan, the Giant Cannoneer (Ranged Supertank)

I was thinking the other day; why aren't there any ranged supertanks in League? I define supertanks as disruption machines that don't do a ton of damage but provide a ton of utility, like Sion and Shen. So, I decided to make this concept, based off of the Royal Giant from Clash Royale. The hardest part was making sure that he didn't become a tanky adc; but I think I did enough.

Sirvan would look quite similar to the Royal Giant; he would be a giant with a large cannon that he hand loads after every shot. He would also have a large shield on his back.

HP 540-1800 Health Regen 9-21 Mana 340-1070 Mana Regen 8.5-20 Range - 550 Attack Damage - 40 - 100 Attack Speed - 0.5-1 (explained in passive) Armor - 26-80 Magic Resistance - 30-55 Movement Speed - 335

Passive - Elite Cannon Sirvan does not gain attack speed from items that grant attack speed, and his attack speed is capped at 1.0 (he gains this amount from leveling up, starting at 0.5). However, his attacks and damaging abilities do 5%/7.5%/10%(increases at levels 7 and 13) of his total armor and magic resistance as bonus physical damage. (So at level 1 without quints or masteries, his attacks would do 42 damage; at level 18 not including items, quints, or masteries, his attacks would do 110 damage.)

Q - Grapeshot Barrage Cost 50/60/70/80/90 mana Cooldown 15/13/11/9/7 seconds Sirvan loads his cannon with grapeshot for his next basic attack. He will lose 100 range, but his next attack will deal 40/65/90/115/140 (+20% total AD)(+Elite Cannon) physical damage in a small area, slowing all enemies afflicted by 30/40/50/60/70% for 1 second.

W - Fortify Cost 100 mana Cooldown 20/18/16/14/12 seconds Sirvan raises his shield, lowering his cannon in the process. He renders himself unable to attack but negates 50% of the damage from attacks and abilities for 5 seconds. He is able to cancel the ability be recasting after 5/4.5/4/3.5/3 seconds. After he unholsters his cannon, he will gain a small amount of armor (10/12.5/15/17.5/20) and magic resistance(5/9/13/17/21) for 3 seconds.

E - Battle Cry Cost 75/85/95/105/115 mana Cooldown 15/13/11/9/7 seconds After channeling for 1 seconds, Sirvan unleashes a fearsome battle cry, giving all nearby allies Inspired for 2/3/4/5/6 seconds. During this time, affected allies gain 10% movement speed and deal bonus physical damage equal to 2.5% of Sirvan's max health on hit. Additionally, all enemies within the range of Sirvan's battle cry are taunted for 1 second.

R - Heavy Rounds Cost 100/125/150 mana Cooldown 100 seconds Sirvan uses his stash of Buster Shots to use with his Elite Cannon. His next five shots (expires after 12 seconds) deal 5% of Sirvan's maximum health as bonus damage and knockback targets 600 units. When used with Grapeshot Barrage, all enemies in the area around the main target are knocked back.

That's it for his abilities. Sirvan's main role is to stay at the back lines, dealing a good amount of damage and applying a ton of cc to enemies. His Fortify lets Sirvan body block projectiles without taking a lot of damage himself. He would work well as support or top; his scaling is extremely bad on non-damage stats, so he would be forced to build armor, magic resistance, and health. His early game would also be very bad, so it's recommended that he hangs back until he has a good amount of armor and magic resistance to do some damage. Once he has Buster Shot, he gets great for teamfights. He can provide his carries a ton of peel with his amazing knockback, or he could flank around and actually shoot all enemies towards his team, leading to some horrible positioning. Additionally, a well placed Battle Cry can win teamfights, as in can lead to a great initiate and some nice cc.

Suggested Items : item 3022 More cc, more damage, and more health! item 3512 Sirvan has horrible pushing, and the extra armor and mr on this item are great for him. item 3111 Sirvan has a long attack animation, so it's best to have some tenacity so that he can position well.

DO NOT USE item 3025 item 3078 item 3057 Spellblade items are extremely weak on Sirvan. He would have one of, if not the lowest base attack damages in the game.

I hope you guys enjoy! It was a lot of work, so leaving a like would be nice.

EDIT: buffed his passive from 5/6/7 to 5/7.5/10. Now, if he was level 18 with 200 armor and magic resistance, he would do 140 damage per shot; pretty decent for a ranged tank.

This actually isn't that bad. Seem quite creative and orginal.

I would really like to see it someday, a ranged supertank, creative and unique. Also, can you find a way to draw just a few concepts? Also, try lowering his range to 525.

Interesting kit!

One issue I see though is that it would be very hard to actually use all 5 shots from his ult since you are knocking the enemies away so it would be difficult to hit the same enemy twice unless you flank the enemy team from behind. It's kind of like with Tristana ult how most high elo players don't take more than one point in it (until lvl 17), because too much knockback means you are putting them out of your attack range (600 > 550). I suggest either not having every shot knockback, tieing the knock back to his Q combo, or reducing it to 500 range or so they would still be in auto range if they were in melee range when shot.

You know the reason why ranged and tank doesn't go together with any champion currently in the game is because they inherently don't work together. A tank is a frontliner, a ranged champion is a back-liner. His W and his E don't feel like spells for a ranged champion, his Q and R don't feel like spells for a tank.
