I think it would be cool to have different map skins that we can purchase. We have so many cool champ skins, wards and Icons but not map skins. It would be cool to purchase Summoner's Rift in different colours or the tower's be different colours or the jungle look different.
they said in the new client they might get map skins
it was something about the map being hand drawn and coloured, and if they wanted to change it they had to redo every single pixel.
Cool? Yes A lot of work? Yes Priority? Low
It would be great to see, but I don't expect it anytime soon.

Probably won't happen but possible. The problem lies with not the difficulty of making a new map skin, even though it would be time consuming, it instead is with the fact they would have to make sure every single ability of every single skin of every single champion is easily visible on that reskinned map both in regular mode and color blind mode. You can make the argument" well they shouldn't use it if they are going to complain about something like that I would use it anyways" but that's not how the internet works. Give us refunds a misteryi gift and 200lp now or everyone will quit the game! O and 3 more map skins cause the ones you made I don't like. Those ones should be FREE!!!!!1!
and different minions like the ones for star guardians and project c: that would be really really cool
I would be fine with riot bringing back the winter map skin and the hallowing map
purchase? PURCHASE? hell no
Maybe get the 10 players to vote on a map during champ select (winter, summer, etc)
