Thresh is close enough. Besides, he did steal little ol Lucian 's wife into a soul prison and was gone forever..could be argued that it'd make a better skin than a new champion concept.

Sure, it could be viewed like that. Or you could view it as a historical accuracy, given that slavemasters would routinely punish their slaves and keep them from their loved ones.

Granted, there is a line. It's one thing to have accurate historical depictions (Huckleberry Finn, for example), but to make light of something for the sake of money (a skin depicting slavery would be horribly wrong).

As long as it's not some dominatrix lady. Such a tired trope. I'm thinking a skinny boy with beautiful hair who gets picked on by all the League hunks like Garen and Darius because they're secretly jealous of his mane. One day, they cut it off and he collects all the hair off the ground, weeping. He then fashions his hair into a sturdy whip, and vows to avenge the hunks who smited him with the very power they tried to relieve him of.

Just some background knowledge. I made a personal suggestion to Rito for there to be a mermaid champ. They released Nami a few days before my birthday and I'm also a support main, so I'm pretty in tune with what Rito wants to do. They look to me for all their ideas. I am actually working on a whip wielding champion... (Yeah she a girl. But she is not your typical smexy lady. She has features similar to Braum just a little.)

It would definitely be cool to have a champion that uses a whip for a weapon but seeing that rather hilarious visual bugs and glitches that come from thresh...

Again I wouldn't mind, it could be cool and I would love making their auto attack animations spaz out.
