I Quit Yasuo b/c he is too "team dependent"

now i play wukong and kennen. run in press r win.

almost out of bronze.

couldn't do it with yasuo for 3 years. (not to mention his hard laning phase and matchups.)

it's a shame when you have a favorite champ but can't play him because "META" is overpowered.

He's the same as any other champion, but he's heard to learn. Kennen and Wukong on the other hand are relatively easy to pick up and play, that's the simple truth. Has nothing to do with your team, just your own skill.

kennen and wukong have more team utility...what's so hard so understand about that?

Yasuo is team oriented actually, because he needs a team to be competent and give him windows of opportuinity.

too "team dependent" sorry .... guess i'll fix that thanks. :)

I'm getting out of bronze with yasuo

hi brimaz : D lol. Don't worry I haven't really quit him ..... I just want to hear the communities opinion so i can think of some better ways to play him xD I actually enjoy him top lane because if you win top lane you usually end up the highest level and effectively neutralize the enemy team tank simultaneously.

I like him top too because the lane is longer so longer skirmishes can happen.

yeah what are you talking about

his laning phase is ridiculously overpowered and he counters tons of champions

but he isn't a beginner champ. not recommended at all to bronze players

i have over 500 games on yasuo. me being bronze isn't the problem. I know this champ like the back of my hand and I'm mastery 7. in bronze teams don't work well together so you need a champ who can carry alone. Yasuo simply gets blown up too easily and most of my games go to late game because at my elo teams don't know how to end fast. yasuo is mostly damage over time...and tanks really screw me over.

Diamond player here. I've played like... 1 game of Yasuo, and it was on PBE before he was released.

I guarantee I could go into a Bronze ranked game as him and utterly stomp the enemy team singlehandedly.

You being that skill level is a problem when you are playing that champion. I'm not saying that to be mean. You just don't have the mechanics, decisionmaking, zone control, etc. to play to his strengths and cover his weaknesses. Even if you know how to play the champion itself, you don't have the fundamental skills to succeed with a champion like that over a 30-40 minute game. But your skills (in those things) might be better than the average player at your elo since you are climbing with other champs like WK and Kennen. So stick with them.

There's a reason everyone says don't play Yasuo/Lee Sin etc. in Bronze. It doesn't matter how good you think you are with the champion. You can't play to their high skill ceiling because you aren't even close to it. And without being high in that skill ceiling, the champion is bad.

Not to mention, you'll probably need to have harder opponents (ie, up the ladder) to actually see how good you are.

Bro, if you aren't single handedly carrying with yasuo, then you don't know him as well as you think you do.

As long as you build a proper mix of tank and damage, you should have no problem with tanks
