Better Match Making?

Now i certainly do not know a lot about coding and how the match making system works but in my recent experience I have seen a lot of Good day with great teammates against shit players and Shit players against a great team. There never really seems to be a balance of teammates. I never have games that are based off team skill. Mostly just one person on ur team or the enemy team ints pretty much and the whole enemy team gets carried. I am really just looking for a suggestion on how riot could balance the match making where my team's MMR isnt 400 lower than the enemy's or vice versa. I want evenly matched games to see if I am a good player or garbage you know?
