Casual Players in Ranked

I just played a game where my jungler afk farmed the whole game and told me to "stop caring too much" about winning and my mid laner told me "enjoy your loss" Now i reported those two players but it will likely mean absolutely nothing to Riot because they never ban anyone I report. I am just annoyed because casual players come in to my ranked games and do not try. They feed and shrug it off like nothing. I do not understand why these people play ranked if they are playing casually. Go play normals or something. I think Riot should think of a method to keep casual players out of ranked, or the community can just not play ranked if they are casual players. I do not play ranked to lose games. I play to win so can you people who do not give a shit just stop playing ranked?

TBH its bad to have a "I NEED TO WIN" mentality, sure its competitive and sure its optimal to win. But all that changes is elo. I just hit gold 5 every season and stop playing ranked, its not that I cant climb but the only time i want to play ranked is when i find the game super fun and feel motivated to do so. Guess gold players wont be too upset with me keeping yi out of their ranked games http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=RedLink29

See the thing is I don’t play the game to have fun. I play the game to climb and get Elo. I play normal games to have fun. It’s like base all for instance. I love playing baseball but when I am in the field making a play or on base or up to bat. I don’t laugh and joke. It’s all seriousness. When I get to the dugout that’s when I shoot the shit and laugh with my boys. Maybe I just have a weird mind set but I think ranked should be a more competitive style game mode not a casual style

Casual players have casual rank. If they are at top gold, they are probably not that casual.

Anyone using "afk farmed" loses all credibility in my eyes, so excuse me if I treat you just like any other toxic player.

"Enjoy your loss" and "stop caring too much" is very unsophisticated trolling. I have no idea why that has to be explained to you.

So why does saying “afk farmed” lose all credibility? Is that not the proper term for sitting in the jungle and farming camps recalling farming camps some more and never ganking? Also casual players can be good at the game, to me, a casual player is someone who could care less if they win or lose. They play the game for the laughs and to have fun with their mates. They do not play to win or to climb. Is that a bad definition in your opinion?

Because you are either afk or you farm.

No, that is trying to farm up. It's a less risky playstyle.

Not caring too much about the outcome of any particular match is called "sanity". If you've lost a match to another feeder or to your own 3/18 score, it's not something to care about. If it becomes a pattern over multiple games, you adjust. This is how you think competitively. Getting mad over a player you will never meet again, because he is placed exactly where he belongs, is casual.
