Dear Riot,

I was wondering the legal aspect of players giving ideas of champions to you, whether full thought out, or just the bare bone concept. i was wondering if i come up with a champion concept and lets say you like the idea, what is the way i can submit the idea such that you can use it without needing some kind of special authorization? and will you ever need such authorization?

I am writing this because i have been playing for nearly 3 years now and started to get a feel for how the champions are put together individually and in the world of Valoran. since i do not have a singing voice or a computer good enough to stream due to using a laptop primarily, and my main skills in creation are in the written medium, in the form of poem and stories. i was thinking that before i start those i would like to have a champion of my conception be added to the league. i have place one far fetched idea already without thinking of the legal matters or requirements for a champion.

i am writing to you to be able to make what i consider the first step to be sure i understand the universe that Valoran exists in. once i'm sure i have achieved that i will attempt some poetry and then go into attempting to write a novel occurring in Valoran but not necessarily including champions.

P.S. i had a concept for a main character for the novel, but i have to scrap it now as it was a thief who could go through walls and was named bard. i was going to have him steal or try to steal some champion's weapon to sell on the black market. but oh well at least i can predict the future as i came up with the idea about a year ago or two ago, i dont remember i think i scrapped the idea.
