Ro'Tar the Darkin Shield The Darkin shield thirsts to be damaged testing its might, proving itself to be the strongest.

Passive: Gains additional magic resist or armor based on the most recent type of damage type dealt to him for a short time. The amount of armor or magic resist scales with missing HP.

Q: Smashing his great shield into the ground with such force it is temporarily broken. Enemy champions within the vicinity are dealt low damage and are knocked up, any unit walking over the broken ground will be slowed (allies, minions, enemies).

W: Leaping to the aide of an allied champion Ro'Tar buffs them. A percentage of damage dealt to buffed champion is dealt instead to Ro'Tar.

E: Throwing his shield he can save or damage. He can throw his shield to an ally champion blocking a percentage of incoming damage, damage dealt to the shield is dealt to the Darkin. Throwing his shield at the enemy will deal damage and stun them for a short time. When the Darkin is without his shield he is significantly weakened losing his passive ability, access to any of his other abilities, and cannot auto attack until he retrieves the shield.

R: Retribution: The Darkin holds his place absorbing damage, once his shield has absorbed enough damage or enough time has passed he can recast sending back all damage received as a skill shot. The ultimate is a channeling ability where the Darkin cannot move, blocks damage in a semicircle around himself and any allied champions behind him, and can only redistribute damage in the direction of the semicircle.

This is my first time trying to think of a champion, I think it's not that bad, let me know what you think.

W is kind of similar to Braum . especially with having a giant shield. So maybe try changing that? He likes being tested so he needs a good engage maybe?

Ok, in case you don't know. Darkins are the weapons not the vessels. So he would be the shield. Witch would NOT be possible, because the lore says "Darkins are weapons of great power" so we know all the remaining darkins are Weapons and not shields. So your champion is lore impossible, but if he wasent a darkin, is all ok. Next time you make a darkin champion read the lore.

I can see him having a kit that revolves around something like item 3174 where dealing damage in a certain way will support allies nearby.

if you want him to throw his shield way for a while then it wouldn't hurt if it buffs his offensive capability instead while he doesnt have it. Its so easy to juke and attempt to draw out important cd's anymore in this game that any major weakness like losing access to your abilities for a while is basically a death sentence or consigns you to being useless.
