First thing's first, let's address the title; "Really? Another Marksman with a Pet?" ...This really shouldn't be hugely problematic, as Quinn is the only other Marksman with a pet. And even still, Kindred wouldn't even count for that number, since they're spirits. You wouldn't count Kalista's Sentries as pets, would you? And citing Ashe's Hawkshot wouldn't work either, so...By way of technicality, Quinn is still the only Marksman with a pet. The kit does have new stuff, even if Mark of the Kindred is a twist on something like Quinn's Harrier. Dance of Arrows can be said to be a lot like Ezreal's Arcane Shift, but it's more or less improved in that Lamb fires a hail of three arrows at nearby opponents. Dance of Arrows and Mark of the Kindred, as well as Wolf's Frenzy are meant to solidify Kindred's theme of being a jungler. When you think Jungler, one of the ideas that would come to mind is someone who's trained in survival skills, a hunter. But, I don't think getting heavily into detail about the abilities actually being cool would sway you to agree with me, so I'll leave that as a moot point at half-way. And, while Lamb and Wolf are oddly sized, that brings to question "what champion is properly sized?" Yordles are supposed to be small, and yet Tristana on her own is relatively large compared to the others, like the squat brass blacksmith Poppy, or the Yordle who's 90% hat, Lulu. Rumble makes up for his diminutive size by riding a sufficiently oversized bot, and Gnar is debatable because of his Rage Gene. In my opinion, complaining about Champion size won't do anything. If it's really so much a problem, consider asking Riot if they'll add an anti-Elixir of Iron. Perhaps call it Elixir of Pointless Diminution? Next; Equals. They are supposed to be equals. And they are. They're equal opposites; Lamb is serene, nimble, precise, and wise, reciting poetry to lull her marks to their passing. Wolf is simple, wild, aggressive, fear-mongering and young, ripping and tearing at foes and demanding "If they run, they're mine!". The reason Wolf needs Lamb's command for Wolf's Frenzy is because he counts on Lamb's guidance. She sometimes needs the extra ferocity and muscle-power of Wolf, however metaphorical that would be, while Wolf needs Lamb's guidance and wisdom. If Wolf were alone in their job, he'd simply bound between whatever breathes, ripping it to shreds. And trying to claim that Lamb is acting unequal because she's the one doing the auto-attacks and basic abilities is kinda pointless from a design perspective. Would you rather play a champion where you have to control two separate entities who act at the same time whenever you perform an ability? You're playing Lamb in one location, and Wolf is at another, and you try to cast Dance of Arrows on a jungle camp, and while you succeed, you accidentally cause Wolf to lunge on a Wolf camp and he gets attacked. Well, there goes half of your health. The reason Lamb is the one who casts most of the abilities is because of the KISS principle. Keep It Simple, Stupid. Lamb is the entity that stands out, so she naturally has to be the focus of the abilities. Especially because she's actually given proper form, rather than a swathe of smoke and a head; she has legs, arms, a torso, and a visible body. So, what better way to display her nimbleness and skill than to have her the focus of the ability, rather than trying to make it a switch-type champion like Elise or Jayce? As for "Why a bow even!?", that's beyond me, personally speaking. But they pulled it off, they did what they want to do, so it shouldn't matter to me. And, with the inclusion of Kindred, there will be three champions with a bow. Count it; Kindred, Varus, Ashe. But, if you're going to be snide and say "I meant bows and crossbows!", please take that place elsewhere. All in all, if Kindred is really such a huge problem for you? Don't play them.
