basara toujou shinmai maou no testament by ellixsir-d8nrzoo

It is what it is; I decided to try and make a fun melee champion without the ability to dash, blink, or deliver hard crowd control. I personally think I've succeeded; in sort of an "Anti-Mage" concept (which is why I linked a picture of Basara). If anyone wants to use parts of the concept they're free to do so.

Name: WIP Currently going with 'Basara', but there's no real idea yet- it's just a kit. When I have an actual idea for the lore and look the name would likely change. Role: Fighter, specializing against long-range mages and combo-based champions. Weapon: Could be anything so long as it has a blade: sword, glaive, heck- could give him/her a chainsaw and it could still work.

Innate: Basara's first basic attack against an enemy champion will silence them; the duration of the silence will increase at certain levels. This ability cannot be used on the same champion for a set amount of time.

Q: Basara will fire forth a wave of energy from his weapon, slowing and damaging all units struck. Auto-attacks reduce the cooldown of this ability.

W: Passive- Every auto-attack will grant Basara a stack, each stack will grant him bonus attack speed; the stacks will vanish after not attacking an enemy for several seconds. Active- Basara gains movement speed for every stack he has at the time of activation; after the ability goes on Cooldown he will not be able to restore his stacks until it is off Cooldown.

E: Basara will activate a spell shield, for a brief duration absorbing the next ability used on him and firing a return blast of energy at the enemy.

R: Basara will channel briefly before emitting a blast of energy from his current location; removing all ability-given buffs on the enemy team. For example: Diana has been healed by Nidalee and has the Red Buff. The ultimate will cleanse the AS given from Nidalee's heal but will not effect Diana's built-in AS boost or the red buff.

Meh. This seems kind of underpowered. It could be good in stopping, say, a Sivir ult, but it should do a lot of damage as well. Otherwise it would be highly underpowered.

Only with abilities, it does nothing to basic attacks. I'm not sure what's considered "Good" for a spell shield since all that exist do wildly different things. Morgana just stops CC from working. Sivir just blocks a spell, with mana back for being good at it. Nocturne has a passive buff and blocking a spell boosts it A counter seemed fair enough.

Well yeah, it would also do damage. I don't think you fully thought out how powerful it can be though. Tryndamere ult? Gone. Vayne ult? Gone. Nasus ult? Gone. Lulu ult? Gone. Any shield that comes from an ability- gone. and so on and so forth; every ability that could buff yourself or an ally could be taken away by one character. Not sure it's possible from a programming standpoint, but QSS gives me hope that it is at least feasible. True, some champions would care less than others, but some champions would care a LOT.

True. I just personally hate Parry on Fiora... it deals damage and keeps her sustained so she can burst the hell out of you.

That's true. I didn't think about that. Would it remove an Udyr buff? You know, extra damage on Tiger stance, the AS, and the extra damage on the first attack, lifesteal on Turtle stance, stun on Bear stance, AOE every 3 attacks on Pheonix? And then obviously the shield, the movement speed buff, and the AOE on Pheonix? Also, would it stop, say, a Yorick ult? As in, if someone has the ult on them, will ulting remove that so that they can't come back and keep on killing?

Udyr- yeah, it would remove whichever buff he had on at the time. Udyr though would just go to another stance so taking away his buffs doesn't do much. Pretty much anything that gives you a little square above your abilities would definitely be removed. At least that's the idea.

Would it interrupt channels, such as Fiddlesticks' ult or Drain?
