[Champ Idea] Zelos, the MInd of the Blades
I always had random ideas about new champs and today im finally going to share it online
I had wanted to create an auto attack focused mage but that idea seems a little bit too much like
so i decided to make a kinda ad version of
but still having some uniqueness to it.
Summary: Zelos is an ad melee mage that has similar mechanics to
's soldiers. He excels at the hit and run tactic and is able to bring some high burst damage with correct positioning. He has 4 floating blades that will be manipulated using his abilities. He also uses energy to limit his positioning of the blades and punish him if he misplaces the blades
Passive: Enchanted blades: Zelos is able to use the blade to attack a enemy within range(200 around the blade,needs the blade to be 1100 range with Zelos) dealing 10/20/30/40(+1.1ad)physical damage at 1/4/7/10 lv. After a blade is used to attack an enemy, it flies back to Zelosand restores 30 energy. Additional blades deal only 5%/7.5%/10%/12.5% of the original damage at 1/4/7/10 lv. it helps limit the amount of damage Zelos is able to do so he wont be too broken Blades that are too far will fly back to Zelos.
Q: Forward strike (straight line skill shot that stops at cursor location not full length, like
's ult): Zelos commands all of his blades to go to his target location dealing 40/80/120/160/200(+0.7 ad) physical damage to surrounding. Enemies that are along the way take 20/40/60/80/90(+0.6)physical damage.

W: Advancing stance (straight line skillshot in X shape blade center being in the middle ):Zelos commands his blades to split in a cross shape doing 40/70/100/130/160(+0.9 ad) damage all enemies it passes through. Allows Zelos to cast Gather Force for the next 4/5/6/7/8 seconds 75/70/65/60/55 energy 350 range
Gather Force: all blades return to Zelos dealing 30/45/60 (+ 0.6 ad) to enemies along the way. It gives Zelos's next basic attack the benefits(bonus damage and energy return) of 4blades attacking a target. no costs
E: Eye of the Blade (aoe skillshot): Zelos levitates all his blades into the sky and commands them to land on the targeted area, dealing 80/130/170/210/250(+1.5 additional ad) to nearby enemies and slows them for 60% for 1/2/3/4/5 seconds. Enemies hit in the centre take 1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8/2 times the damage and is stunned instead. Allows Zelos to cast Spirit Blade in the next 4 seconds 120/110/100/90/80 energy 1100 range
Spirit Blade: Zelos switches position with the targeted blade infinite range (capped by passive of returning blades) 40energy
R: Ascended Mind: Zelos meditates briefly and then become ascended for 5/7/9seconds , gaining the following buffs
- shows location of all enemies within 1100 range
- all basic attack slows the target for 10%/20%/30% and benefits from Enchanted Blades(passive) equivalent to one blade(bonus damage and energy return)
- all abilities and auto attack gain 1100 range
- basic attack reduce cool down of spells by 1/1.5/2 200/200/200 energy
Conclusion: Zelos has low base stats at the start and high burst damage making he unsuitable to be in the jungle and might struggle at top lane when enemies forces fights. He is most suitable in the mid lane where the opponent laner is also very squishy. He should be played very aggressive in the early-mid game stage and is expect to heavily win lane. After winning lane, his e allows him to roam and help out other lanes.
