Lores becoming short?
The lores from champions before have at least half a page but look the latest lores:

They are really short. Only 
's lore which everyone is reading has some real content

It's not going to be a permanent / regular thing. Just like all new champions aren't going to be 7800/6300 IP and 1350 RP won't be a regular skin price point.
If they give Veigar short new lore, heads will roll. Or kneecaps will be Q'd, at least.
According to Riot the client will have short lores and the website will have long versions of that lore. There were technical issues that delayed the implementation, though.
i don't even know what the Mothership is; i guess i'm just a lore noob
