Natalya, the Evolution's Acolyte

Rundown: Natalya is a markswoman best suited as an ADC in the bottom lane. She excels at fighting single targets, but can have some trouble with three or more Champions. She is closest to a Vayne/Quinn hybrid, while having her own unique abilities.

Voice Acting: In Champion select: I fight for my father's dream.

Movement: Delivery! The air.. it's cleaner here. You've got it! These roads.. they're nothing like Zaun's. I'm on my way!

Attacking: Give 'em a taste of techmaturgy!

WIP

Role: Marksman. Skins: Evolved Natalya, [1350 RP] (Looks alike Viktor, has ascended through the Evolution rather than just her weapons, gives her voice a robotic voice over)

Lore: The backstreets of Zaun are an unforgiving place, ridden with all but the most unruly of men. Illicit substances are passed like the common cold through the thick industrial miasma, and for a young girl, these streets are not the place to be. Natalya watched as her parents became eroded by the poisons of both smog and addiction on these dangerous alleyways, until she was all alone; with nothing left but the streets she learned. Even at her immature age, she began to find work under the shadiest tradespeople to make a living- albeit not much of one. Quality of life wasn't of importance to her, simply living was enough; until she was given a job to deliver a set of illegal machine parts.

For the first time, Natalya was going deeper into the backstreets than even the steeliest of men would go; to a place where outcasts and maniacs roam wildly. On these thin roads where the smog is thicker than the densest of fog, she found her way to her destination; a small concrete building, with a very irritated man standing outside. This man was none other than Viktor, a famed student under Zaun's College of Techmaturgy and a genius among men. Viktor took notice in Natalya's presence, and shot her a glare sharp enough to slice a man's steadfast, but Natalya didn't do so much as wince; rather, she gave him in return a smile. Walking up to Viktor, Natalya handed him his materials and turned around to begin her trip back, when Viktor stopped her. He gazed down on Natalya, meeting her youthful eyes and calming his lingering infuriation. Putting a hand on the small girl's shoulder, he returned her smile with his barely-mustered grin. With thoughts of being able to use the girl to fetch material for his grand plans, Viktor gave Natalya an offer that she never could have expected in her lonesome life; a place alongside him in his laboratory, to live safely with him. Natalya's smile widened across her face as she clung to Viktor's leg, envisioning her new life.

At first, working alongside a famed genius wasn't easy for the girl. Unknown machines and devices line the walls of Viktor's laboratory, too complicated for Natalya's use. Even so, as the months passed, she learned how she could help her adopted father. From buying outlawed materials from her sources, to assisting Viktor directly on his projects, she finally felt the quality of life she never had before. Viktor taught her how to use all sorts of techmaturgical machinery to simplify his own effort, and quickly Natalya began to work on her own side-projects, at Viktor's leniency. Natalya knew well enough that adults didn't grow like children, and as she lived through her young teenage years, she took notice in Viktor slowly changing as well. She couldn't cling to his leg anymore, for both the reason that she was taller; and Viktor's leg was now completely metal and armored. He was becoming one with machine, achieving his ultimatum; the Evolution.

During her fifth year alongside Viktor, he was finally ready to unleash the Evolution he worked endlessly on for half a decade. Viktor, now a man of complete metal, approached Natalya and told her of his plans. He took notice in the fear in Natalya's eyes as Viktor described his revolution, so he gave her an order; to run. She could flee and live a life away from his practice, rather than becoming a metallurgical humanoid and losing the future she never got to have. Natalya was frozen in fear hearing this, and stood awestruck in place. She then did something Viktor couldn't have ever expected; she grabbed his arm, saying that she would never leave her father. Viktor took a moment to stare at Natalya, before he spoke. Viktor declared her to be his first human acolyte, on the condition that she not get hurt due to her human weaknesses, and that she fought with his techmaturgy. Natalya agreed, and began to fight alongside Viktor whenever possible. As such, when Viktor decided to join the League of Legends, Natalya followed suit to do her father proud.

"I may not look much, but dare lay a finger on me and Viktor'll turn you to shrapnel." -Natalya

Appearance: Natalya is 14-15 years old, and stands around 5'1" with blue eyes. She is very tomboyish, with a few scratches on her face and one bandage crossing horizontally over her nose bridge. Natalya has long blonde hair, worn in pigtails. Natalya is outfitted with a labcoat approximately as long as her knees, with techmaturgical attachments; the shoulders and upper back of the labcoat has a metal guard with pneumatic valves, and the cuffs of the labcoat are steel bracelets. Her labcoat is unbuttoned, with a faded light-blue t-shirt visible under it. She has a brown leather belt, and black cargo shorts with many pockets that extend to just below her knees. She wears camoflauge steel-toed boots with pneumatics, laced up. Natalya fights with two techmaturgic crossbows.

Stats: Health: 370 (+75) [445 at 1, 1720 at 18] Health regen: 4.8 (+0.6) [5.4 at 1, 15.6 at 18] Mana: 185 (+40) [225 at 1, 905 at 18] Mana regen: 5 (+1.2) [6.2 at 1, 26.6 at 18] Range: 525 (Ranged) Attack damage: 48 (+3.6) [51.6 at 1, 112.8 at 18] Attack speed: 0.655 (+3.5%) Armour: 15 (+2.5) [17.5 at 1, 60 at 16] Magic resistance: 30 (+0) Movement speed: 330

Abilities:

**PASSIVE: Techmaturgic Repeater **

Effect: Natalya's basic attacks place one stack of Techmaturgy on the target (excluding structures). On the third Techmaturgy stack, all three stacks are consumed and Natalya gains 20/30/40% attack speed for 2 seconds. Minions and monsters are immune to further Techmaturgy stacks for 4 seconds after the third stack is hit on them. Techmaturgy stacks decay after 5 seconds.

Explanation: This ability assists Natalya while farming and fighting other champions; by hitting several minions, she can keep her passive up for prolonged periods by resetting it when it is about to be removed. However, this promotes pushing the lane, which could end up negatively impacting Natalya. In addition, while fighting other champions, she can immediately begin placing Techmaturgy stacks on the enemy after the third one boosts her attack speed.

Stats: Bonus attack speed: 20/30/40% Passive levels up at: Level 1/Level 7/Level 13

Q: Dualfire

Effect: Natalya's next basic attack's within 5 seconds range is 600, and shoots with both crossbows at the same time, dealing 110/120/130/140/150% of her attack damage. Dualfire will apply 2 stacks of Techmaturgic Repeater rather than just 1, and if the third stack of Techmaturgic Repeater is applied by Dualfire, the target will take an additional 30/40/50/60/70 true damage.

Explanation: Natalya needs to put 3 stacks on the target to gain strength via her passive, and Dualfire is a great way to do so. By applying 2 stacks on one attack, it can be used after one attack to activate her passive and deal a slight amount of bonus true damage. Dualfire resets Natalya's attack timer, so it can be used to quickly follow up.

Stats: Damage: Physical, 140/150/160/170/180% AD; True, 30/40/50/60/70 damage Basic attack range: 600 (+75). Mana cost: 60 mana Cooldown: 7/6/5/4/3 seconds after firing

W: Pneumatics

Effect: Natalya activates the pneumatics of her armours, causing her to dash a short distance and gain a shield protecting her back for 2 seconds or until she is struck on her back, reducing damage dealt to her back by 15/17.5/20/22.5/25%. After 2 seconds, Natalya's pneumatics release their stored air, increasing her Movement speed by 2/3/4/5/6% for 2 seconds decaying to 0.5/0.75/1.0/1.25/1.5% after 1 second.

Explanation: Natalya's pneumatic gear hand-made by both her and Viktor isn't just for show; this ability proves that. This ability functions in three parts; a dash, a direction-specific shield, and a slight movement speed increase. The ability starts with a dash in the target direction, and upon landing she gains a shield alike Braums. This shield doesn't stop projectiles, but rather reduces the damage that she takes from a single attack to her back, including melee. After the pneumatics' 2 second duration, they release their stored air to slightly increase Natalya's Movement Speed for a short time.

Stats: Dash range: 400 Damage reduction: 15/17.5/20/22.5/25% reduction Bonus Movement Speed: 2/3/4/5/6% for 2 seconds decaying to 0.5/0.75/1.0/1.25/1.5% after 1 second Mana cost: 100/85/70/55/40 mana Cooldown: 12 seconds

E: Plasma Bolt

Effect: Natalya's crossbow fires a super-charged bolt in an arc after a short delay, dealing damage plus a percent of the target's missing health and silencing the target. If the bolt makes full circle back to Natalya, she catches it and reduces the cooldown of Plasma Bolt to 3 seconds.

Explanation: Plasma Bolt is a tricky skillshot that silences enemies and deals high damage if you manage to hit it. It travels in an arc, meaning that it will eventually return to Natalya. If it makes full circle to Natalya, she'll catch the bolt in her crossbow, reducing the cooldown of her next Plasma Bolt to 3 seconds.

Stats: Cast delay: 0.3 seconds Damage: Physical, 90/140/190/240/290 + 70% AP + 8% of the target's missing HP Missile speed: 1600 Range: 700 Silence duration: 2 seconds Mana cost: 80 mana Cooldown: 9/8.5/8/7.5/7 seconds Type: Arced skillshot (angle adjustable to go in oval or circle, intuitive)

R: Into the Smog/Father's Revolution

Effect (Into the Smog): Zaunite miasma begins to form around Natalya for 0.5 seconds (2 seconds if she recently took damage), stealthing her for up to 5/6/7 seconds. For up to 10 seconds after casting "Into the Smog", she can activate "Father's Revolution", and both "Pneumatics" and "Dualfire" will not break her stealth.

Effect (Father's Revolution): Natalya fires a special bolt from one of her techmaturgic crossbows that encases the first Champion hit in rusted steel, dealing 100/200/300 + 80% AD and slowing the target by 40/50/60% for 2 seconds. During this time, if the initial target Champion is defeated (or defeated by being hit by "Father's Revolution"), the target Champion explodes in a mass of molten metal, dealing 75/150/225 + 60% AD to all nearby enemy Champions and slowing them by 20/25/30% for 1.5 seconds.

Explanation: Natalya's ultimate ability can be used in many ways; to exit a fight, or to place yourself differently and time a perfect "Father's Revolution" to lock down the enemy team. On first activation, it places Natalya in a stealth where she is free to use "Pneumatics" and "Dualfire" without worry, but upon basic attacking the stealth will be broken. Then, for a short time afterwards, she can use "Father's Revolution"; a nasty slowing ability similar to Varus' ultimate ability. If the initial target is killed, they will explode in a mass of metal, slowing more nearby enemies and dealing more damage. Secondary targets do not explode to deal more damage upon dying.

Stats: Stealth windup: 0.5 or 2 seconds (counts while moving, does not require still channeling) Stealth duration: 5/6/7 seconds Mana cost: 100 mana Cooldown: 100/85/70 seconds

Damage: Physical, 100/200/300 + 80% AD; Physical, 75/150/225 + 60% AD. Slow duration: 2 seconds, 1.5 seconds Missile speed: 2500 Range: 1000 units Explosion radius: 400 units Mana cost: 50 mana Cooldown: N/A Type: Linear skillshot

Previous Abilities (an archive of old abilities)

E: Type-E82 Ammunition

Effect: Natalya fires an explosive round from one of her crossbows after a 0.25 second delay in a straight line, dealing 60/100/140/180/220 + 70% AP + 8% of the target's missing HP in physical damage to the first target hit. Secondary enemies within the blast radius take half damage.

Explanation: Natalya's first two abilities are auto-enhancing and utlity based, and so to keep a variety of abilities available, her E is an effective percent damage skillshot. The explosive round deals pseudo-AoE damage, slowing all targets by a significant amount and dealing percentage damage.

Stats: Cast delay: 0.25 seconds Damage: Physical, 60/100/140/180/220 + 70% AP + 8% of the target's missing HP; Physical, 30/50/70/90/110 + 35% AP + 4% of the target's missing HP Missile speed: 1600 Range: 700 Blast radius: 175 units Mana cost: 80 mana Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5 seconds Type: Linear skillshot

Some quick criticism here, but it just seems like it's trying too hard to be a better Lucian. Although the lore and initial concept is really interesting and I was honestly expecting something far different when it came to the actual build. Also I don't honestly feel like the game "needs" another ADC marksman, there are plenty. Maybe an assassin or support role instead?

Thanks for the reply! You can take a look at one of my archived champions, Xe'rin if you're still interested in my work here: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?p=40274779

For the most part, making a Marksman unique is harder than any other champion; they play by right clicking, gap-closing, and using the occasional ability (save for Lucian). Not much diversity can be expected from Marksmen, but I've tried my best on this champion.
