A Brilliant overlooked Feature - Highlights for others to see on your Profile!!! (In Depth)

Hello fellow summoners,

I noticed that this topic has been touched in the past a bit, but as much as i have seen it was on the level of mere questions. What i intend to do with my post is to expand this topic from a question to a.. well, more thought out idea in terms of its' implementation.

So i'll start off with that we all occasionally create our proud or maybe funny moments. Some of those we would like to show to our friends or even opponents that check your profile after the game. Current Highlights is a great tool for making it easier to pin point and save those moments. However, not all our League friends have our Discord, Skype or Email making it difficult to actually share those amazing 1 in 300 games plays.

Sometimes it's not comfortable to straight out brag about your big moment to League friends you made couple of games ago - it would be much more comfortable if they just stumbled upon your highlights section ;-) . All of this is presents a problem in a way - While we have easily accessible tools to edit out those amazing moments, we don't have a platform to put them onto so that those moments would be easy to access.

My suggestion is - Let us customize our profile even more by allowing us to put in our highlight moments in there. Of course, problem arises that you would need a lot of disk space on server to store all that. That is why i propose we put some limitations in place to reduce the stress on server. What if we put a limit of 30 seconds per highlight and allowed 3 highlights per profile?

I understand that RIOT is company that is motivated by money, therefore i have another proposal: Make Highlight slots unlockable either by grind or by money. Maybe let us start out with one highlight slot and make us unlock or win them from hexboxes up to a certain limit, if any (we're talking about actually paying for disk space on server at this point, so why not?). As much as i noticed League players like customization - so why not add some more?

There is another way of doing it. You could link certain videos from your YouTube account to League Profile - this way there is barely any load on servers. However charging money for slots this way would feel a bit cheap, but it could be an unlockable still.

With this idea we could expand even more extreme - to the point where you create a social network of sharing highlights across all player base. But i feel that at this stage it's too early to dream that big.

All of this is just a skeleton of an idea - it can be tuned, or changed up - i doesn't really matter as long as the core stays the same, which is let us show our highlights on our profile to our friends or heck, even everyone.

TL; DR: The idea is that showing highlights on our profile would be a great addition to the game, but there would need to be some limitation to reduce the load on server. Also, if you could buy highlight slots the way you buy Rune Pages or anything of the sort, there would be a financial incentive for RIOT to implement this feature.

I invite everyone to discuss this even further. To put more ideas in the comments of how it could be implemented or even would you use such feature? Would there need to be anything more than currently is to use this feature? Any feedback is welcome.
