Summoner Icons RP/IP

This is how i view it:

Regular summoner icons should be purchasable for IP - charging RP for them doesn't look reasonable considering how pricey they are. My argument for it is: i can get a skin for that price, when it's on sale. I think RIOT should create animated summoner icons and sell those for RP - that way it's way more worth it to buy them. It would actually feel like you're getting your money's worth.

The current state of summoner icon shop needs to be improved. It can either be addressed through reducing the price of summoner icons, or can be addressed through the creation of animated summoner icons. The second option is the better one, since it would obviously increase the sales of the icons. However even then, despite icons being animated, i think 250RP is too much to be asking for it.

Why sell the regular icons for IP? So that newer players would feel that they can earn the customization of their account. While we do get free summoner icons from participating in events, it would nevertheless feel pretty good if you knew - "i can earn IP for some extra icons".

Also... yes i'm aware that from time to time you can buy summoner icon for IP, if the event allows it. However my argument is not that: "We can't buy summoner icons for IP, therefore let us", but rather "Currently buying summoner icon for RP doesn't feel like good investment. Therefore make it be good investment - it's a win-win scenario."

I'm aware that similar threads existed in the past, but i feel that this issue needs to show up again and again from time to time until it's addressed.
