Dr. Xavier Rath from Twisted Fate's Lore

Okay this is either a HUGE coincidence or after his experiment worked on TF Dr. Rath used it on himself and became the ascended being we all know as Xerath. Am i wrong or is this completely viable? This could be an amazing easter egg Riot left for someone to find. If it is i Hope they make a Human skin.

Xerath ascended via an ancient ritual way back when the empire of Shurima still stood.

I think the name of the doctor in TF's lore is just supposed to be a nod to X-Men.

okay but think about this what about if during this experiment it actually sent him back a millennium in time and that ancient society just thought of him as an ascended being because of his powers? and slowly the powers inside him disintegrated his flesh. making him the way he is now. That is how and why he looks the way he is. The would explain a lot or am i wrong.

Damn I never read the lore of Xerath but it might be. Also, for a little while I have been designing a Dr. Rath champion known as "Xavier, The Coding Scriber" and I have all of his abilities and his lore made up. He is a scientist from Zaun born from a rich family which gave him anything he wanted. Later when his parents died he inherited everything and became an arcane abuser which he them used to give TF his power of course. He joins the League to learn of new abilities and sort of wants to experiment with the powers he sees and "add" to them.
