Name checks out... After it got recommended to me I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised, but I wished the great gameplay was embedded in a more substantial story.
It basically the opposite of Xenoblade C2 to me, where the gameplay was lame, but the story, as generic as it was at times, got me interested enough to finish it. With Ori on the other hand, only the gameplay part really motivates me to keep playing as the few bits of story that are sprinkled in are more confusing than insightful. It´s overall so bare-bones story-wise that it feels like playing an even more simplified version of Legend of Zelda.
